Dissapointed
Played here many times. Course is looking rougher than I’ve ever seen, pace of play was awful. Almost 4 hours for 2 to play a round. May have had something to do with the group of 8 in front of us but I’m not sure. Disappointed would be an understatement.
Worst condition ever !!!
I have played the course probably 50 times. But it's never been in such a bad condition.
Maybe I'll come back next year.
tom came back
For the dry conditions in Southwest Florida the course was in good shape.
Greens recently redone..coming together nicely..under new management
Poor Conditions
It looks like they have not watered the course in a while. The fairways were like dead hay in a lot of areas. All players agreed that we can move the ball to a piece of grass after each hit so thay we were not hitting off dirt.
The greens were all full of holes and sand and you never got a true putt.
Not sure why the course was even open.
Very poor conditions.
Course Conditions Deterioration
It pains me to write this, because I have enjoyed playing Coral Oaks for years. The course conditions have always been well over average. This was my first time on the course this year. The fairways had very little grass, and the greens had some bare spots and a few weeds. Granted, there has been next to no rain for weeks, but this is the worst condition that I have ever seen at the course, and worse than other courses in the area. Hopefully things will improve once the rainy season comes, at which time I will try the course again, but not before then because of its current condition.
Disappointed
I prepaid for my son to play 18 holes with a cart. Upon arrival, he was forced to pay for the cart again. He was told it was not included in the green fees even though the Golf Now app show that it is. He has golfed at this course for many years as a Junior golfer. It’s disappointing that this is his experience… likely his last experience at this course. There are too many other options in the area that don’t double charge their loyal patrons.
Still temp tees and green sand on greens
Over a year and the temp greens are still there. Same green sand on the greens. Get off the fairway and your in sand and weeds.
Just bad
I’ve played this course a lot in the past 2 yrs. The condition of the course at this point is sickening. Troon has apparently been signed on as a management company. Which was needed since the city of Cape Coral hasn’t given it any help recently. Troon has its work cut out ahead of them. Tee boxes are AWFUL. Fairways below average with dead and bare spots everywhere. The greens were decent. Better value and conditions are easily available elsewhere.
Time for Price Drop
Course condition was fair. Price for mid-April a little high.
