Coral Oaks Golf Course

Average track with average turf conditions. Greens were fine, fairways were 7/10 and the rough was 3/10. Pace of play was slow. Overall average.

I was looking for a public course between Naples and Sarasota and found this on Golf Now. It was affordable, with a nice layout. It was playable, but not easy, especially the back 9 where water came into play most holes.

I would definitely play here again

Everything was perfect until we got to the second hole.

Our group was riding but the group in front of us was 3 walkers and one rider. After the first hole we watched the time behind pace gradually increase. Somewhere up ahead was bottle neck only added to by the fact that the group in front had a bomber who didn't tee off until the group was way ahead, then the others teed off, so we waited on every single hole. Almost 4 hours and 30 minutes to play which was not pleasant. The bald eagle nest on the 2nd or 3rd hole was amazing.

The staff was excellent. The course was very nice too

Enjoyed the GPS on the cart. Cart told us our pace of play was 45 min behind schedule after 15 holes. A lot of waiting. It was so slow 2 guys in our group had to bail after 16 to make another commitment.

Played on a hot February Friday and pace of play was very slow—4 and a half hours. No Marshall to be seen. Staff was friendly and helpful. Driving range was in good shape but a very small practice green. Tee boxes were in poor shape while fairways and greens were fair. Lots of peripheral damage from Hurricane Ian still visible.

Shot my career low 78 with four birdies. Really nice layout, challenging, but forgiving at the same time. The greens ran. very smooth. Highly recommend it. Look forward to playing again soon.

The course was in fair condition. Most of the tee boxes were terrible. No grass whatsoever. Greens were pretty good but several had chewed up areas. Fairways were mediocre. Price was a bit steep for the course conditions.
