Coral Oaks Golf Course

Just finished up here, yes the cart paths are being paved but it doesn’t take away from the very fast greens, some tee boxes are dirt but no biggie, overall give it a solid B. I would play here again, good value for the money. Ps- the staff is super nice, I pulled up and they took my bag to the cart. Awesome guys here.

Some of the fastest greens I have played in the last two weeks.

Always a great round a Coral Oakes. Friendly staff, and the course is in great shape with the new cart paths going in. Greens are well kept and challenging. Boxes and fairways are their usual good shape.

Got a deal with Golf Now but do not plan on returning… apparently they have been re-doing the cart paths for over 4 years now… really unpleasant with all the work going on. If you don’t know the course layout, it is not always evident where the next tee-off is! Too bad, because nice course layout & gigantic greens that are difficult to read!

Keep in mind the course is under construction and we are in the midst of a drought.

About 90% of the cart paths were being graded and were rough, making the tour really unpleasant. The grass; fairways, greens and tees were dry.

All but one green rolled really fast like astroturf, something learned to deal with as each green was approached.

The course is designed well and will return to a much better course when it starts raining and the cart paths aren't like gravel roller coasters.

Thanks GolfNow. Good course that you should add to your Fort Myers rotation. I will certainly play here again.

Played with a nice couple who knew the way around otherwise all cart paths are roped off waiting to be repaired . When that will happen?? We wont rush back. Greens were well maintained .

A little over priced right now for the condition of this course !

I booked with GolfNow for convenience. My quoted rate was $64. I was charged $69. Both of these rates were before tax. However, when I questioned the rate, and showed the course attendant the email, he refused to honor the $64. He totally blamed a rate mistake on GolfNow. The fact that I had it in writing, no dice. I know you think what’s $5. But there were 4 of us, that’s $20. We spent over $80, on range balls, beer, and drinks.

Bottom line, decent course, outside staff, and snack bar folks were super. Clubhouse attendant, not so much.

The greens are in very good condition. They roll true and are fast. Nice! The fairways are showing signs of wear due to the busy season, but they are still green and playable.

The good news is finally, the cart paths are being replaced! Yeah! The work is in progress so be aware of the workers. We had to modify a couple of tee locations so Noone would be injured by a wayward shot. Great job Coral Oaks!

I also heard they may be getting new carts in October. Wouldn't that be nice. Hopefully the prices won't skyrocket.

Is the course perfect, no. The greens are very good for this time of the year.

Fairways we're good, rough and around the greens were acceptable.

Very pleased with overall condition

The course is showing signs of wear and tear.

The grounds crew does a pretty good job maintaining the course but there could be improvement.

The cart paths are horrendous! The fairways need more grass and a thorough cleaning of the areas around and under the trees would help the appearance. Not sure what can be done about all the roots, but they are impeding into the cart paths and fairways. The city should definitely invest money into this course before it's too late.
