Not even worth a Hot Deal
Course is in horrible shape greens are ate up fairways are in god shape staff is horrible.
Course a little challenging
The greens on most holes were good, some a little bumpy. Some areas the course is still a little too wet. It's only been a week since Hurricane Ian came through.
Very soggy
Well there were only 9 holes open due to hurricane Ian. I just wish the website would have mentioned this. We were coming from out of town.
Could be better
First let me start by saying this was right after Hurricane Ian 10/1/22. The course itself should have not open because the front 9 was closed and we only could play the back 9. The back 9 was still pretty darn wet and honestly carts should have been cart path only. Aside from the conditions the staff was very friendly and good people. be aware though this course is very narrow on a decent amount of the holes and most likely not good for anyone relatively new to golf in general. I lost a decent amount of balls myself and usually I only lose at most 2 per round. This course left a decent amount to kind of be desired in some ways and will come back with my rain check once it recovers a like from the hurricane but over all I’m not rushing to get back to it. Hope this helped.
Surprised how terrible the tee boxes are
Second time playing this course and it’s nothing but trouble. First time staff personnel drove on the green with their cart to take my “range ball”. Mind you it was one of my first times playing in 2017. But this time i was shocked. I’ve never played on tee boxes this bad. Everywhere you try to stand at least one foot is in a divot. Greens were fair as well as the fairways. Won’t come here again.
Casselberry golf
This course get nicer every time I play it! Really keeping up with the grounds and the golf shop has improved dramatically! Still wish they had a cart girl it’s gets hot out there.
Expensive and weird layout
I wouldn’t even leave a review if this course charged a normal price but $40-50 is WAY to expensive for what this is. Super short course with a very strange layout. Was not a fan of how the course ran. Probably the slowest and definitely the smallest greens I’ve ever seen. Almost had a backyard pitch n putt vibe. Hole 18 legit looks like a backyard hole. Again if this was a $15-25 course it would be cool. But for this time of year and being only a few miles outside of Orlando, you can definitely pick better courses for the same price or cheaper. Rather play winter pines or fairways (both of those courses charge $9-25 and play longer and have better conditions)
Expensive
Casselberry is a decent course. Greens are pretty good. Tee boxes are fine. Tough enough test for a 25+ handicap like me. But 50 bucks on GolfNow is too high.
Over -priced
Course was in terrible condition. Greens were like shag carpet and bare in many places. All well and good if the price matches conditions but course charging way too much for the shape the course is in.
