Winter Park Pines Golf Club

In 2025, this course was in excellent playing condition. Clearly the course maintenance team were excellent and cared about the course. Obviously, something has changed. A lot of the greens and tee boxes are in terrible condition. And many of the fairways are lacking grass.

C’mon City of Winter Park - you can do better.

It’s been a year or more since the last time I’ve played Winter Park Pines and it’s certainly improved in its quality. The amenities have improved greatly, the course is better than I remember and the staff have always been great. For the cost it’s a good value.

I played this course today and I have to say it’s embarrassing the conditions the course it is in. They used to be in better condition. The staff is hot or miss if they are friendly. Plus they charge $60 for a bad course.

Greens were dry; that’s really my only complaint. Still rolled fairly true even with that. Layout, hot dog, everything else was great!

The course is in rough shape. I haven’t played the course since the Spring and would give the greens 2/10, tee boxes 3/10, and fairways 5/10. There may have been a couple of greens that were decent. Right now it’s a $30 course.

The staff was friendly and club house is fine. Every time I have played the course you had to hit off mats at the driving range. I’ve heard from others that on occasion the grass area of the range is open, but in the two years I’ve gone there that has never been the case.

Not in the same shape it was 4 years ago when it wasn't owned by city of Winter Park. But good enough for government work. The greens were completely re-done less than 5 years ago, but most are in bad shape. Landscapes left with weeds in them, sand traps holding water. Hole 1 is now 10 and 10 is now 1, they got rid of the fairly new granite hole signs and replaced with cheap ones that just have the whole number, no info. But if you want a beautiful outside seating area around the clubhouse, remodeled full bar, then this is your place.

Did not care for this course. I think there are better options for same price.

This course had terrific greens, difficult holes (which I love, the better the challenge the better the course), the staff was awesome, food was terrific! Pace of play was good, I wasn’t feeling rushed or slowed down! I will recommend this course to all of my friends and family if we ever come back to Florida for vacation! We may just come to Florida for this course specifically!
