Wekiva Golf Club
About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,849 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Much Better
The course has improved a lot since the new irrigation system was installed.
2x Strike Out
This was the 2nd attempt to play this course. The first time I took my Son to play. We arrived on time and went to the 1st tee only to be told by a group of grumpier old men that it didn't matter what tee time I had, which was before their group of 4, they stated that they were next. The pro shop for some reason, told them they could go out next, and didn't rectify the situation.
The second time was this past weekend, I think they might have over booked, because we were told that they had upwards of 220 golfers scheduled. Carts were in short supply. To make things worst, they sent out a 5-some of ladies in front of us, and they were slow.
Overall the course is in great shape, but there is definitely an issue with regards to the pro shop and tee time scheduling.
Enjoyable round
We have been playing this course for about 4 years and really appreciate the continuous improvement we see from one round to the next... As snowbirds, we play in the winter and play here probably 3-4 times each winter. We noticed significant improvement last year and were pleased to see that has continued when we played our first round this year.
I liked playing here
There were some things that were just ok but all in all this course is really turning around and will be a real gem in the near future. Loved that they have new irrigation now
Pleasantly surprised
I saw that this course was 3.5 stars but has been recently increasing in rating. I went to check it out and it was pretty great. There is a lot of course here to be played.
Nice course,
Course was in great shape considering, a lot of rain the day before. Actually puddles on first 2 greens. Parking lot being paved. Coming off 16 hole sign to 17 takes you into a neighborhood, then no signage. Took us 15 minutes to finally spot a sidewalk running between 2 houses. Price was right. .
Quick review
The parking area is being resurfaced and created uncertainty for new visitors.
The course was in good shape, a few greens were less than ideal but all in all, I had a good experience.
Very good golf course
Zellwood golf course exceeded expectations! Amazing layout, fantastic conditions, effortless pace of play, and the staff were super friendly.
There are better options
I played on a Saturday afternoon. Staff is amazing and bar is great. Range is just ok, chipping area is solid and so is the putting area. The course is boring (no elevation change only one water hazard). The course appears to be in good shape, however most of the "grass" is either some sort weed or a weak grass (rye). The pace of play is BRUTAL! Too many groups. One one hole (not in front of us) there were four carts and one guy was playing in basketball shorts with his shirt off. Clientele is really bad. There are much better options in the area and they are less expensive. I won't play here again.
