About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

GREAT practice facility.
Every practice tee has electronic equipment which measures distance, ball speed, etc. for every shot you make. What a terrific bonus. My wife and I were very impressed and enjoyed this special bonus!
Easy and greet golf course
very easy for a nice golf with friends good conditions and beautiful layout.
Great course - just a bit slow
I had the pleasure of playing Dubs Dread for a second time. The course improved a good deal since my first round (last winter), especially the driving range. The only drawback was the pace of play - over 4.5 hours.
Staff was outstanding very knowledgeable and very friendly course was in good condition greens excellent but once again the staff was great yes I would recommend this all day long
Nice course!
The course was in great shape. Some of the tee boxes were a little rough. The staff was great! Stop in at Ollie's next to the pro shop great food cold beers!
Classic Muny
Beautiful facility maintained by city and staff. First class operation from pro shop to driving range to restaurant to course. Even in winter a good value for non residents. Very firm rough will extremely penalize any shot not hit in middle of fairways or around greens. Picking correct tees super important unless you are a true scratch golfer. Don’t let scorecard fool you, if you are playing for first time play up a tee or two before you beat yourself up from black or blue tees
Nice course with history
Not very long but in good shape and will provide a challenge. Lots of water, tight holes, greens are good rolling well, fairways and t-boxes are good. They have added a new updated driving range with Trackman.

Great all round experience, enjoyed the course layout the history and the practice range was 1st class.
Great course and great food
You can’t beat this course for the price and quality of the facilities. From the newly renovated driving range to the tap room everything is top notch.
Great place
Started playing there over 30 years ago. It was my favorite course then and still one of my favorites.
