Cove Cay Golf Club

Nice golf course, reasonable pace of play. Greens rolled nice and had plenty of grass. They are Bermuda greens so if you are from up north and used to bent grass be sure to account for additional break and distance adjustments for your putts. Sand in bunkers was ok but very playable. Many folks had stated course is tight and I feel that is not the case. There is room off the tees and there really aren’t any houses in play. The back nine is a little more scenic than the front. There are several holes with doglegs so you will be able to use most the clubs in your bag.

We teed off around noon and finished in 4 hours. We did not see a ranger and there isn’t any beverage carts on the course so grab your Gatorade in the pro shop and at the turn. They did have a separate clubhouse which offed hot dogs and sandwiches along with a bar if you want adult beverages.

Overall a pleasant day and we were paired with a retired couple and we enjoyed their company.

The course is pretty nice but it took 5:25 to play. Way to slow.

Fairways were not really green. But condition was good. Greens were in good shape. Several times plat came to a halt with several groups waiting in front of us. Not sure why unless is was beverage cart service that caused slow downs. Price was high for the pace and overall feel of the course was hoping for more.

Course is okay, but nothing special. Only greens were in good condition. Course layout is ok, but last couple of holes are the best. Staff in the pro shop was very unfriendly and straight faced. Staff in clubhouse was much nicer. Had lunch after, food was delicious.

Nice course with beautiful views of the bay. The greens were very challenging, and in good shape. Enjoyed the layout of the course. I would play it again!
