Cove Cay Golf Club

The greens were good and very fast. Anytime you are not in the fairway it is very difficult to find grass to git off. This course needs to badly improve the amount of grass.

Really loved the back nine where the water comes into play. Very challenging.

I’d hate to Mess up a good thing and let the cat out of the bag but Cove Cay is in great condition. I had a 7:22 tee time went out early first 9 1hr 2nd 9 about the same. I slowed down just to take in the beautiful views. Not to mentionl the great shot values throughout this course. My 73 today showed that a good score could e had if you know how to play this tricky course.

At the height of the pandemic and when every golf course is practicing social distancing guidelines, Cove Cay seems to be out of touch with reality. We had two higher risk individuals as part of our foursome and Cove Cay said it would be an extra $20 to get a separate golf cart. We were completely blind sided by this as NONE of this was posted or was transparent on their website to the consumer. If we had known we would have booked somewhere else. The only positive is that we did get a refund on green fees.

Loved the layout. Views were spectacular. Challenging but playable.

Ended up leaving the course before even teeing off because the staff was so rude.

Cove Cay as you can see from the pictures is set on Tampa Bay is a beautiful area. The course owners need to work on and around the greens better. Crab grass and weeds are on the putting surfaces . The fairways are well maintained but the course more attention to the greens.

Very cool & fun short course. Greens were very fast & in good shape. The views on the back 9 by the bay are awesome. A touch pricey at $43 but you’ll have fun regardless.
