Greens Under Repair
Most of the time the course is in good shape. However, it would be nice to know before you tee off if the greens are airated and sanded. Would have golfed elsewhere.
Nice low cost course.
Great course to play. Nice and easy to get around. The golf carts are nice and convenient
No. Runaway. Nope
Just think of it as the worst experience ever. I wouldn't go even if it were free—my time is too valuable. Maybe if they paid me $20 an hour and the weather wasn't too hot, I'd consider it. But let me be clear: you're going to regret it. Deeply regret it. It'll ruin your whole day and put you in a bad mood. The staff will literally curse at you
Decaying
I haven’t played here for quite a while and I’m sorry to say it’s gone downhill in the worst way. The fairway was so rough that my wife’s cart kept tipping over. The greens were very slow and the tee boxes were in horrible condition.
Fun Course
It's really fun to play here, would be great if they could fix the sand traps, which BTW don't have any sand at all.
Greens improving
The General Manager has done a fantastic job of boosting the business at one of the oldest golf courses in the South Bay. The greens were very slow earlier in the year. Yesterday they were significantly improved. Great job greens keeper. Really enjoy my Player’s club membership. Thanks NC Golf Course!
Long wait times
Course green fees were a great price, $18 for 9 holes. But when I got there I learned the cart fee is $31…per person. Just about double the green fees, and for a 9 hole course. Outrageous!! Settled for a $5 roller for my bag. They overbook tee times, everyone is waiting on almost every hole. Rsnged from a 2 minute wait up to 10 minutes where 3 groups were waiting to hit off the tee in between holes. Bathrooms very poor. Course was average, some nice par 3s and 4s. The one par 5 hole I was looking forward to practicing was nonexistant. They moved the tee box up 200 whole yards so it was more like a par 3 maybe 4 instead of a 400 yard par 5. As a beginner golfer I’d go back for the cheap green fees but expect a slow game, do not buy the cart.
Decent 9 Hole Course
Staff was friendly. Course was in a little rough shape, & there was some puddles along the cart path. There weren't a whole lot of pre-madonnas playing, & the frequenter I was paired up with was great to play with & guide. I probably shoulda brought my full bag sans my Sunday golf bag, but it was fine. The food looked & smelled great, but I had already eaten.
