What a course !

I was born in GA, USA )but brought up in South Wales) and have had many trips over there visiting family and playing some fantastic golf courses. I’ve also played many fine courses in and around South Wales and Cardigan has immediately gone into my top 3.

Incredible course full of character and history. Very clever architecture with the first two holes playing into the prevailing wind. The course upkeep is immaculate, bunkers carved into the landscape of the holes and wonderfully positioned to protect the greens, which are excellent and a pleasure to putt on.

The views are incredible and the layout interesting.

The club pro was extremely welcoming and is great ambassador for the club.

I can’t speak highly enough of this. For me this is up there with Royal Porthcawl and Pennard, and in fact I think I enjoyed it a bit more than either.

Great day!!

There was total confusion at the pro shop due to the booking. The lady controller cause mayhem in finding the other pairing as she would only allow one tee time even though there was no one behind us…..hospitality??

Bar was closed and no food available went to the nearby hotel. The course was fantastic, in an excellent condition and we had a great days golfing.

It just didn’t start so well before the first tee…

Beautiful Golf Course

A lovely course with commanding views over the river estuary and bay. There are no 2 holes the same although the fairways tend to have a slope on them towards the sea. With a variety of natural undulations, and thick rough, stray drives get punished. The greens were in very good condition and as I like fast greens they suited me well. The greens are all large and interesting and offer great scope for pin placements which would change the course and strategy on different days. The staff at the Pro Shop and in the bar were very friendly and all members I spoke with were helpful and friendly - seemed like a very nice club and visitor friendly!

Without doubt the club are blessed with a lovely piece of ground for a golf course, and the course makes excellent use of natural features. A joyful experience.

Cardigan Bay GC

Played on a breezy Sunday afternoon. Had been raining but clear skies. Got it on a hot deal. £20 for what I would say is one of the best courses I’ve played. Excellent condition. Greens true and fast. We were told by the Pro that the course is at its best at present. Will definitely play here again

Spring golf in Cardigan

This course gets better every time we play it.

Great fairways, tees/greens in mint condition.

Even had buggies in play-most courses currently don't allow trollies!!!

Cardigan Golf

Booked whilst holidaying, a typical links layout some lovely challenging holes not too long but fun in the wind made it interesting, course maintenance was underway on the greens, the ground staff were always apologetic and the work underway didn’t really bother us, the views were stunning and the course well maintained, the gorse thorns were sharp so a must to keep it on the fairway. But wow what a course we’ll laid out easy to follow and the views stunning.

Great course

Really lovely links course with views of the sea from every hole and tee. We were lucky with the weather it was dry but overcast. Got a good deal on Golfnow. It was not that busy. Easy to find your way around and some very interesting holes. My measure of a course is would I play this every week, yes I would but could be very challenging in high winds which I am sure they experience as it is exposed.

Excellent course.

Wonderful experience from arrival to the final putt. Fairways very dry and hard but that assisted my drives and had a big hand in my 1st eagle in many years.
