Cardigan Golf Course

Lovely layout of the course with great views of Cardigan Bay. The fairways were dry because of the drought conditions but greens were in very good condition. I would surely come back to play again.

Hidden Gem

A fabulous find while on holiday in the area. From excellent practice areas, tee boxes, well cared fairways, great features and excellent greens. I enjoyed playing Cardigan so much more that I expected. I would be more than happy to look at membership here if I lived in the area for sure. First off in the morning at 8:50 on a slightly drizzly day it took well under 3 hours to get around. Staff were very friendly and the pro shop member of staff was very helpful prior to teeing off with advice on course layout, conditions and good scoring holes.

Saturday Round Cardigan GC

Great price at £26.95 through golf now for 320pm start. Warm welcome and lots of coyrse advice from proshop.

Testing layout with sea winds and with the ample course out- makes for tricky drives.

Need to know your yardages on the par 3s with the 16th being an amazing challenging hole. Fantastic bowl green to hit into with a 25mph cross wind! The 17th hole also has a great green to play into. Good long 18th to finish. Stunning coastal views - highly recommend. The Fish & chips in the clubhouse were also spot on.

First game at Cardigan

Great location with superb views. 25mph winds made play interesting. Cracking true greens with lots of 2 tier greens. Warm welcome in proshop with lots of useful info.

Great time to play as all the gorse is out. Fantastic closing holes 16-18. Many sloping fairways need to be respected with tough par 3s.bthe 16th is a stunner like I've never played before.

Stayed for dinner - good fish n chips in the clubhouse with sunset views over the sea.

Highly recommend this terrific club to play.

Nice course staff not very friendly.

We played the course and it was very good condition, but having visited a large number of courses in Wales for many years found this one very unfriendly, The guy behind the bar could only grunt what do you want and found he was the senior captain, the young girl in the shop was very blunt would not return.

On the plus side the course drains well and has spectacular views. The greens putt well.

On the downside , the course has too many blind shots.

Sadly I found the welcome far from friendly. A bar full of members who couldn’t muster even a hello. The barman acknowledged my drink order.

I was booked to play with 2 members who didn’t show even though the lady in the pro shop said they were at the club. The two members behind me watched me tee off alone. The two members who I caught up invited me through.

I would like to think that at my club a visiting singleton might be invited to join other members.

I suspect they thought I was English ; I’m Scottish !!!!

Interesting course with some harsh rough. Views from most holes absolutely stunning.

When I arrived I was told that I would be playing with two other golfers.

I me met them at the first tee and what a lovely couple they were. We played the round in beautiful sunshine and a bit of a breeze. Some good golf and some not so good.

Completed the round in 3 hours 35 minutes.

Would thoroughly recommend this course and was tremendous value through Golf Now.
