I think I saw Swamp Thing teeing off
Not worth playing at this time due to the swampy conditions. Hole number one was cart path only (like almost all the rest) because of being too wet, had sprinklers running!
When this course drys out it’s beautiful but right now it’s not worth it.
Great course and weather
Great course and conditions. Greens have been recently aerated, so putting was a bit interesting. 😁.
Always enjoy playing this course when visiting.
Course had lots of weeds, cut grass pooled all over the fairway. No one informed us that the greens had been aerated. Was not worth the money paid.
9 hole
The fairways and greens were a little flooded but in great shape. Rough needs to be cut once in a while
Wet
Due to being so close to sea level the course was quite wet. Course path only golfing! The wet fairways (standing water in large areas) made it a bit difficult to get to your ball at times. We will definitely try this course again in Fall through Winter when it’ll be drier!
Good shape
Overall the course is in good shape. Tee to Green as good as any around Citrus/Hernando Counties.
Good shape but rained out
I was pleasantly surprised as the course was dry considering all the rain recently.
I am so glad to see the Plantation back on Golf Now. I was my go to course until they removed it from the play list.
I will be back playing
the Plantation often if it stays with Golf Now.
Have played here several times.
Always enjoyed. Hurricane has caused most of the trees to be removed, so harder to find shade from the heat. Hurricane also trashed the clubhouse, so now working from a trailer. Construction set to begin soon. But course still in good condition. Drink & snack cart made several trips during our round. Had to stop between 9's due to heat exhaustion and staff very concerned and helpful. Will be back again when the weather breaks.
Excellent Greens
Their Greens are up there with the best in the Tri-County area. Rolled so smooth and true. Tee Boxes and Fairways were in good shape, as well. The location of the course lends for some wetness in some areas around the course, not allowing for mowing for so of the rough off the Fairways. Carts had GPS. Looking forward to going back again soon
Nice
Tees and fairways were good. Greens were a little thin but overall considering that it was a little wet the course was in good condition.
The course
Called what is now "the pro shop" & finally got someone to pick up the phone, been trying occasionally for a month now, anyway, it's 3/3/24 & I ask the gentleman if the range was open yet, he said only if ur playing golf, I said ok, how much is it at noon, he said $70, I honestly laughed at him, so we can't use the range unless we intend to play, now they're charging $70 for a track that's worth $30 on its finest day, they have 2 postage stamp practice greens, 1 for Chipping, 1 for putting & no range use unless ur playing. TOURISTS, put ur money to better use, go somewhere else...I certainly won't play here again
Why is it listed?
It was the first time this course was listed in a year, I made a reservation paid on-line
,showed up and was told green they don't take Golf Now payments.
No Longer a Golf Now contracted course!!!
Golf Now needs to remove this course from its selections
I love this course but they do not use Golf Now anymore.
They do not use Golf Now anymore. The management still allowed it though. But that will probably not happen again in the future. But the course is great, though they are still picking up the pieces after the tornado.
fees are out of line
No clubhouse
no restrooms
no bar
no restaurant
no driving range
cart parking and directional lanes make absolutely no sense
course is in pretty good shape
Fees don't match the lack of amenities
