Ballamor Golf Club

We were the 2nd tee time out sunday AM as a two some behind a threesome whom were locals. We didnt have to wait a shot all day long and I personally love that since I like to play faster then most. Ballamor itself is a beauty no one I know had previously played here and I think its time they do. The course its self i would use the word exceptional it has some fantastic holes and i had no complaints with the course. They have some pretty demanding prevailing winds that seemed to be into our face for nine holes which made it a little more interesting. Ballamor is a must see for your avid golfer.

Took 5-1/2 hrs. to play the round and paid good money for the round. Rangers did nothing to speed things up. Good was outstanding and will play again.

Course condition was being airated but we were aware of that going in. The real issue was the weather that day. Winds at 30 mph and temprature at least 15 degrees cooler than the previous day.

We went out during the week. The staff was very friendly. The course was being aerated and that is the only reason it did not get five stars. Had a lot of plugs on the fairways and a lot of sand on the greens. This is by no means a complaint. It has to be done as regular course maintenance. The course itself it long and difficult but I did enjoy it. I would absolutely come back.

Could not have afforded to play this track at rack rate. However, GolfNow Hot Deal put us on the green for little green. Great track if you are down the shore. Fast greens and well conditioned. Nice staff and good pace. Would play again and again.

Definitely one of the top courses in NJ, very challenging, interesting layout, well maintained, worth the ride and money to play this one

This was the second time I played Ballamor and could not have been happier with the course conditions. The course was lush even though we have not had much rain in the last few weeks of August, and there was no evidence that the course had been "overplayed".

This is a pines course. I saw some people mention it was a links style, but maybe just barely. I really like the layout. It is always in good (or better) shape. It really has a nice feel to it. It can play as long as you want. The last hole is one of my favorite finishing holes.

Don't hesitate to play it if your a mid handicap. It is pretty generous finding lost balls.

I had a great time. The course was well maintained and lots of fun. I really enjoyed the long trecks through the woods between holes (Not to long). The course had some very challenging holes that could be considered masterful design. Just nothing do dislike. HIGHLY recommend!

Whatever you do don't take a cart to the parking lot, I had some friends in town from New York and they took the cart to parking lot to put their bags on after checking in and paying & the attendant came to their car took their bags off & drove the cart back recklessly and mad a loud noise while breaking ... For an attendant to work on tips that was very rude ... Also no matter how slow the people in front of you are playing if you have members behind you the ranger will keep advising you to speed up your pace... Real simple they want your public money but its all about the members & cart attendant RUDE! I will never play there again and I will advise all of my customers in the golf community that I work in not to play there either.

Being a local and never having played this course was an outstanding afternoon of challenging golf. This course is long but fair. Plenty of trouble so you need to hit it straight but the views and vistas Are fantastic.this is a must play if you are in S Jersey. Be sure to see Herb at the bar great mixologist!

Beautiful payable course with enough challenges, but make sure you go with a member, caddy or other experienced guest the first time you play. There is no time to study the course when regulars are behind you. Our foursome finished 18 holes in 4 hours and 20 minutes, but we were pushed by the ambassador to hurry up because of the two groups behind us.
Other than that, a beautiful course well worth playing again.

I was tryin to decide what course to play in south jersey. After reading reviews and looking at pics I decided on this course. It has a country club feel as soon as you drive in. And the course is amazing, great bunkering force carries, you will use every club in the bag. If your around the area definitely get out to this course.

Played on the first tee time at 6:30 am as a twosome and didn't see anyone in the course all day. Golf course played great, greens were very fast and they were still wet from the morning. It was a great experience.

I really enjoyed the course. Challenging but open enough that losing your ball was not a constant concern. Open enough that you can still enjoy your round if you're not hitting perfectly. The greens were fantastic. Most had interesting designs and breaks. Very little issues with ball marks or too much use. The surroundings were great. Sprinklers were marked but I don't recall many 200/150/100 markers. I would definitely play there again.

Was staying in Ocean City , NJ. Wanted to take my son to play 18 while on vacation. I thought the course was fair but has 5 sets of tees to challenge any skill level. The staff was friendly. The starter gave us tips for the uphill holes that look flat but are one club longer. Greens and fairways are in great condition. Played the round in 4 1/2 hours with a 7:20 AM Tee time. Joined two other nice guys. Didn't eat there but the cart came around with food and beverages several times. I would play this course again.

Ballamor was in great condition. The greens were exceptional and rolled fast and true. Well maintained and provides a fun test of your skill. One of my favorites at the Jersey shore!
