Ballamor Golf Club

Great course for advanced golfers, challenging yet very fair

Played the course as a twosome, from the blue tees and enjoyed every hole (three birdies always help).
The course was in great condition and the greens
were fast and true. We took our time since it was our
first time around this course and finished play under
four hours. The whole experience was great and we
plan to return in September. JShooter008

Great conditions excellent bunker conditions and great layout.

An excellent layout - for the mid to low handicapper this is a gem of a play. Checking in at the pro shop was not welcoming though as the gent at the counter couldn't have been less welcoming or interested in my day. Never offered the range option to me though I had an hour to wait before I teed off. No instructions when to be where to start or if I was paired with anyone else - just disconnected and really, disinterested.

They have a membership and daily fee play options and I always say you can tell how a club feels about its guests by the way they are treated by their members - this was also not the best of experiences. While I admit singles have no standing on a course, to be behind four 20+ handicappers for 7 holes and not allowed to play through with a course complete open ahead of them is nothing more than bad manners. There was no ranger to Marshall along play and the only reason I was eventually able to play through was when all 4 put 2 balls each into the pond and decided to stop and attempt to fish them out!

I want to go back and play this course again as I played well from the blue tees (74) and would like to play the tips. I just don't know if I'd chance being out there for 5+ hours again behind a similar group.

greens rolled well. all collars in good shape. even when in the rough, it was eas to find ball and hit out of. living 2 minuts from scotland run, would much rather drive the hour to play ballamor.

The course was in great shape. The rate of play was good for a Saturday afternoon I will definitely play Ballamore again.

Ballamor is an amazing course pristine conditions , challenging holes, and the staff is awesome!!!! This is a course you would drive 2 hours to play! I will be back many more times!!!

Beautiful course! Would recommend to anyone willing to make the drive towards the south jersey beaches.

It was very windy so many golfers stayed home but my buddy and I got such a great deal through golfnow that we decided that we would head out. Boy oh boy I'm glad we did!! The course is in good shape, the greens were fast and challenging and it felt like we have the whole place to ourselves. We had a great time, enjoyed the scenery, course, and company. Overall a great experience. Thanks to Ballamor and golfnow!!

Ballamor has great conditions all year round. I have played this course twice in the offseason and based on the condition of the golf course, you would never know. There are wide open fairways that give you opportunities to score but put it in the wrong spot around the green and it is a tough up and down.

Not bad for a blustery Easter Sunday. The course were in good shape and the best greens I've played on this year. Would definitely play here again if the price was right. The staff in the club house weren't the friendliest, but then again who wants to be working when it is Easter.

I wish this course was closer to me so that I can play it more often.

course is great design, greens roll true and fast, just air rated greens and fairways but still very nice course

This golf course is one our favorites to play in the AC area. Have always found it in great condition. If you are long hitter, you will really enjoy this course, But girls beware...the red tees are usually only mere steps from the men's white tees. Plays especially long for women with many uphill slopes and elevated greens. Maybe they want to discourage women players, but if not, they could greatly improve pace of play by moving the red tees forward. But as an avid golfer, love this course!

First time playing this course. People have always raved about this course and now I know why. This course is very well designed and pretty forgiving for the most part. Fairways are wide, not much water or sand. This course is a must play for anyone within the surrounding area. I highly recommend it.

Although wide fairways,and not a lot of water to carry,the main feature is the sand bunkers,but we played in end of March,conditions were very good for that time of year.It seemed that the course played away from the clubhouse,difficult to stop after 9,also would be a long course to try and walk.

This course is really a wonderful course.
I think the course condition was not really good because the season was still in the middle of March.
I guess it will be much better during the actual golf seasons.

In that day, there was very strong winds all day.
If there was no such a terrible wind, my rounding would be fantastic.

Ballamor is a very difficult layout from the back tees. It is long, hilly, and the greens are well bunkered and contoured. That said, most of the greens can be approached safely on one side or the other The course is attractive, with some nice natural areas. The main drawback for me is the similarity of many holes. There are several long par 4's with similar fairway and green bunkering. After the round it is hard to remember which was which. The two short par 4's are more memorable.
