About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

GREENS POOR !
Staff was friendly. Layout typical flat Florida course. Problem was at least 3 greens were closed and I was not aware till we were playing. Putted on makeshift holes in the fairway. Most of the ones that were open were in poor condition. They should make the public aware of the closed greens before they book the T time. I would have played elsewhere and played another time. Now I won’t return. Not good business.

Worst greens I’ve ever seen
We play at Lakeview occasionally as my wife likes the executive course. They’ve done some nice things in the last year in terms of new cart paths, cleaning up a lot of dead trees, but the greens are just horrible.. I am not sure what is going on here, but they are very sparse with grass, large sandy spots, and barely cut.

Anxious to return
. Even though the greens and tee boxes are being upgraded , I still enjoy playing here. Cart paths have been improved & looking forward to the renovated modifications upon returning in January
Poor coarse
We weren't warned prior to tee off but the coarse had multiple greens under repair so they had temporary greens. Alsoi had numerous temporary tees. Greens that were in use was patchy and rough at best
