About
The 27-hole Neshanic Valley Golf Course is the flagship course of the Somerset County Park Commission system. The renowned design team of Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry created the course. Divided into three nines known as the Lake, Ridge, and Meadow, the course provides three different 18-hole combinations. Each par-36 nine has five different sets of tees. The Meadow/Lake Course features ample amounts of fescue along both the fairways and greens. If you don't hit straight off the tees, you may find yourself in some trouble. There are cavernous bunkers framing the greens, which are also subtly sloped for even more of a challenge. The golf course begins and ends with water holes but you'll find environmentally sensitive wetland areas that come into play throughout. In addition to the 27-hole course, Neshanic Valley also has a nine-hole, par-32 Academy Course.

Wish this was closer to me. Fantastic value, great golf course. Will be back.
Pouring rain
We pre-paid , so the no cancelation policy was in affect , one friend decided not to play , smartest one of us all , we got soaked , not a fan of those rules , will have a hard time using this site again , course is awesome
Fun course great condition
This is a championship course. Fun layout lots of short par 3s and dogleg holes. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in great shape. Greens are fast. Only very minor complaint, as it is with all Somerset county courses, there is no white tees. Either Blue or Silver. If you've never played here start on the silver tees.
Right on track
Course is in great shape for early April. Once greens grow in from aeration Neshanic will be top notch.
Tough course on a windy day
Beautiful course layout. Challenging approach shots with strong winds. Greens were aerated . Staff were very accommodating. Will definitely come back to play again
Tougher than it looks
Neshanic is one of those courses that looks easy even from the blue tees, but than you check your scorecard and wonder what happened. And the fescue hasn't even got up yet.
Solid Course
Course was nice but greens were aerated so tough putting. Hot deal price was fine $38 today but won’t pay $70 to play.
Aeration linger
Aeration was 3/29 so expected better greens. There were no greens. They were fully coated with sand and basically impossible to read speed or break...would have expected some warning from pro shop as well as discount from golf pass...
Great course
extremely windy and chilly, early tee time, course is in good conditions for late March, greens rolled true.
was surprised with the high amount of noticeable ball marks on the greens, very disappointed that golfers don't repair them. where's the golf etiquette ?
The staff are so friendly
We played early due to raining. The manager was so nice to make us go before heavy raining .
Great layout
First time playing the course, early season conditions were fair, with slow greens. Look forward to return during peak season to play better conditions.
