Neshanic Valley Golf Course - Meadow/Lake Course

Neshanic never disappoints, and I've been playing there since it first opened. Busy day but pace was good with groups properly spaced. The conditions were top-notch.

It is a bit pricey for out-of-county golfers but worth it for the occasional treat-yourself round.

great course. never disappoints. there was a mix up with GolfNow and the Somerset computer systems. they didnt have us booked. i showed the person behind the desk my confirmation. he said look you have it cancelled. i told him the first one i did cancel but the second shows i re-booked using promo code. i told him to look at the time stamps.and shows we were booked! he still thought i was lying so i had to get GolfNow on the phone. Bottom line is the course did get me and my wife out in reasonable time. i had 2 more promo codes sent to me from GolfNow. Just aggravated the guy thought i was lying. Obviously NOT a people person

Highly recommend playing, course in very good shape. Played over month ago and not in as good of shape, as expected with all the play but still fairways and greens very nice. Rough is very high and tough to get out, can’t wait to play again.

Have been playing Neshanic over 10+ years. Always a pleasure to come and play. Course is always in a great shape. Pace of play is excellent. Staff could be a little friendlier. Overall A++.

Really nice courses, although some greens had a lot of unfixed ball marks this time. Very important to hit fairways here, and greens were quick. I always struggle here, but always enjoy it, I'll be back.

Been playing Neshanic for many years. Great course, great value. Greens were slow today but overall a wonderful course. It’s a must course to play in NJ.

For my money, this course is the best public facility that's not in the greater AC area. Absolutely remarkable conditions for it being late in the season, and this being a municipal facility. The rates are reasonable ($85 for non residents) for a course of this quality, with such a great design pedigree (Hurdzan & Fry of Erin Hills fame). That said, the design is phenomenal, and would stand on its own merits regardless of whose name was listed as architect. There are a lot of fun, interesting and challenging holes, but the course remains playable for people of all levels (I play with some 25+ handicaps who are over 60, and they enjoy the course from the senior tees. Additionally, in maybe 7 or 8 rounds at this course this season I have never once played in longer than 4.5 hours. This ranges from 7am tee times to 11 am tee times and everything in between. I cannot recommend this course enough.

Great course. Well worth my 45 min drive. Trying to play NJ best public courses and think this will be hard to beat
