About
Neshanic Valley Golf Course is a 27-hole layout that was designed by the renowned team of Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. The course is divided into three nines that can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The nines -- the Lake, Ridge, and Meadow -- are named after the different features of the varied terrain but each par-36 nine has five different sets of tees, which provides playing options for all skill levels. On the Meadow/Ridge Course you'll find ample fescue along the fairways and greens. The greens are especially tricky since not only are they framed by massive bunkers, the putting surfaces are also contoured. Though the slopes are subtle, they can be very tricky. There is a pond on the front nine and environmentally sensitive wetlands come into play throughout.

Play this course
Might be a bit more money during the week but it is worth every penny!! Will not disappoint
Gorgeous place for all skill levels
This place is beautiful. I got lucky and took a chance during a possible storm day and the golf gods were smiling upon me. Maybe saw 5 golfers all day with minimal rain and some sun even. Greens are absolutely perfect, the rough is thick but doesn’t ruin your shot necessarily. Tee boxes and fairways are ideal. I got to play all 3 9’s and they are all fun and I would have to have another go before I picked a favorite. I got an amazing deal when I went last minute, so I can’t speak too much on cost, but this place is one of the nicer courses I’ve played in the region. About 40 minutes from where I am but well worth the trip over the bridge to NJ and winding through their roads where the speed limit changes every 2 miles to get there.
Workers I encountered were very friendly and helpful also.

1st time playing after hearing nothing but great things and wasn’t disappointed. Course was in fantastic shape. Looking forward to playing Neshanic again soon!
No alcohol on course.
Neshanic is great, but they don’t have their liquor license. No alcohol served in the clubhouse or beverage carts. I feel bad for the girls in the beverage carts that are trying to sell water and gatorade to a bunch of golfers (like me) begging for beer. $85 for the round and you cant buy beer? Huge let down for an otherwise awesome course.

Course has been and still is great. Fun design, challenging at places, not sonic h at times, great links course for sure.
Guess post covid it’s got run down, only 2 staff at the pro shop were present. The restaurant closed. There is nothing available on the course. Not even water!!
Hope things change, for the better, for the sake of the great game of golf at Neshanic.
Beautiful Expansive Course
First time playing here. It is one of the largest courses, real estate wise. The conditions were great. A forgiving, but not easy course. You better hit your driver well.
