Grande Vista Golf Club

Wife and I played using a Hot Deal at $35 each including a cart - so expectations were not super high.

Course easily exceeded the expectations (though my play did not).

The greens were in much better shape than the fairways which were a bit patchy but not at all unplayable.

This course wanders through a housing development - some very nice houses and some not so nice houses. You can tell this was a really nice course many years ago that is now trying to get by on lower fees and the GolfNow deals.

A great benefit is that it is about the closest course to the airport (MCO), so you could possibly get a round in before a late afternoon flight.

Great course conditions and very challenging layout from the back tees. Only problem was snail-like pace of play.

It is a different course in reference to not having the long 4 or 5 pars. Condition of course is always very good and the staff is friendly but very professional. Perfect to practice your irons and short shots.

If you believe that the game of golf is based on a 150 yards and in to the green, then this is definetly the track to test your short game ability. The Greens roll true and will not dissapoint. If you are a player that likes playing the "Big Dog Stick" , then this track is not for you.

There is also a great team of Instructors as well.

The practice greens are great as well as the challenging 9 holes.

I wasn't informed until I got there to play that this is a 9 hole course. No par 5's, either short par 4's or long par 3's. Not to the average golfer's liking. Would not play again

Good course to play when you are staying at grande vista resort . Course was very wet after 4 days of rain. We were able to do 2x 9 holes in about 3 hours.

Great course to warm up; and practice, before playing the more expensive and difficult ones. The attached hotel, is also a great value.

The course was in great condition, not soggy, but not arid. The bunkers were a little wet, but that just kept my ball from burying so it was fine. We arrived over 2 hours early, but they were able to get us going very quickly with very little waiting for the pair in front of us, and we weren’t rushed by the group behind. The fact that it was a weekday may have helped.

This really is one of the better 9-hole courses in the Orlando area, so if you have a couple of hours before catching a flight out, it would be great. Quick access to the airport freeway, too!

As usual, the friendly staff and well maintained course made for a great day of golf for my wife and me.
