Grande Vista Golf Club

Tee’d off at 11am on a day that the weather forecast assured me that we’d have no rain😉. Welp 10:30 the Lord decided differently and the heavens opened up! With that said, Drainage on the course was great. Sun came out on the second nine and even allowed for some favorable rolls (Witch I was in great need of!). All in all I had a great time! I was playing solo and possibly because of the weather conditions, the traffic on the course was light and as a novice I experienced zero pressures Met some super cool folks out there and ended up being the third wheel both rounds!. Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet any gators 😉.

Great course for seniors who can't walk 18. With no par 5's you can do a round (18) in less than 3hrs. On a hot day byou can stop at the clubhouse to cool off and have lunch or a nice beverage.

Course well maintained . Greens in excellent shape. Locker facilities available for golfing guests, including showers.

Have played here several times over the last few months and always enjoy the golf. Greens are a bit fluffier/slower then I remember last time.

Beautiful course, conditions were great. But aside from that it left a lot to be desired. The course really is a par 3 course with a few optional tees that allow you play some as a SHORT par 4. This wouldn’t be an issue if they weren’t charging 100 for 18 holes. To give ourselves some variety we played the green tees on the back 9 and if I had to do it over again I would just play from the green tees each time. You can go play some really nice courses for the same price in this area and actually get to exercise every part of your game. Beautiful place. Just not worth the money.

Enjoyed the course. It was well kept, and it had smooth greens. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Course is super short. No par 5's and the 4's are short.

Lots of rain the last couple of days and it wasn't boggy.

Booked a tee time for 2 and someone was going back around to play the second 9 of his 18. Starter told him to stick with us. Would have been extremely unhappy if the guy wasn't cool.

Prices aren't going to go down but $59 for 9 is still too high.

Course is in good shape. Greens roll true but pricy for 9 hole short course. Great practice facility.

I always enjoy this course. It is well maintained, fun to play, and the staff is terrific. However, on this day some private golf instruction company, which was not affiliated with the course, booked a tee time which happened to be directly in front of ours. I mentioned something to the starter, as the group of four basically non-golfers and their on-course instructors were an entire hole behind by the time the group finished teeing off on number one. Then each hole took about 20 minutes. It was a freaking circus. After a couple of calls to the pro shop and an agonizingly long six holes, the group finally dispersed. As it turned out the super guy at the pro shop desk contacted the Director of Golf and the group was apparently told to get their butts off the course. Please, Grande Vista, do not allow these private on-course instruction nutcases to clog up your nice course. And thanks to the staff for jumping on this and correcting the issue.
