About
Wild Turkey Golf Club is one of New Jersey's top public courses. It is part of the Crystal Springs Resort, which offers six other courses including the popular Ballyowen and Crystal Springs golf courses. Wild Turkey combines characteristics from both. The layout has a unique design inspired by the interesting topography, which is most aptly described as "basin and ridge." The "basin" of the course is a wide-open expanse that offers plenty of room while the holes that play along the "ridge" of the golf course tumble across a variety of elevation changes. Due to the dramatic undulations of the terrain, it's a tough golf course to walk. Wild Turkey Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 seventh. This tricky hole calls for a demanding carry over a quarry lake in order to reach the well protected green.

What a waste of a great course layout!
This is one of my favorite courses and it’s sad to see how little is done to maintain the course. So many divots and ball marks all over the place. Nothing provided on the carts to fill divots. Bunkers are in horrible shape. For the price charged for a round, it’s very sad that none of that is being used to maintain the course. I won’t be going back anytime soon until I hear the course is in better shape.
Brutal pace of play
This course is great but it is a little on the expensive side so I don’t understand why they allow a turtles pace of play if you are going to charge premium price you have to move people along
Greens were very beat up
3 hrs to get through 11 holes with no Marshall’s in site to keep up pace of play. Was tempted to walk off the course but no easy way to get back to clubhouse from back of course. Course was nice but pace of play just ruined what should have been a great round.
Repair Your Divots and Ball Marks!
Great course but players are not doing their part to replace divots and repair ball marks on the greens. Course management should have sand/seed on the tee boxes and in the golf carts…

The course has open fairways and many different challenges. A very fun course to play with beautiful views
Picturesque
I’ve played at Crystal Springs and Black Bear before. Wild Turkey was spectacular starting with the starter who knew I was playing alone and he went ahead to let the two teams prior to let me play through and that I owned the course. I had such an amazing time I immediately told my friends and we’re looking to go next weekend. Pricey but worth every penny!
Backed up
For the money they should have a ranger on the course pushing pace of play. Too many outings, don’t know how members stand paying so much for membership to sit and wait on every hole.
Fabulous Layout
This is mostly a second shot golf course with ample room to position drives. excellent array of holes, all interesting and fun. Dramatic elevation changes in many cases. water strategically placed. outstanding green complexes and bunkering. Bring your iron game and short game. For us it was early season, but even so, hitting off the fairways was a dream. Very well maintained..
Are they crazy ?
$150+ for a round in the winter ? This isn’t Augusta. Get real
