Awesome
An Australian traveler here. Excellent connection. Greens were a challenge. Very different from our short grass rock hard greens. These were lush and true. Incredible views and very challenging for the first time. Never quite sure what club to use.
Amazing Course
This is the second time I have played here and it was somehow better than the first. Buggies are a good investment given some of the hills but this is a great course.
Challenging holes and amazing views, really enjoyed the second time here and will certainly be back in the future.
Brilliant course
3 of us played this course, brilliant condition, well looked after. Great scenic views. Quite difficult but enjoyable. The only downside was the price of snacks and a beer. £6 for a pint was disappointing. Will definitely return soon
Stunning. And great value
Stunning setting. Course is top drawer and great value for money. A tough test. Tip! Hire a buggy!
Unbelievable for £15
Nice course in good nick. Great views and good food and drink in clubhouse
Great course, some challenging holes, great condition.
Played this course a few times, this time much drier conditions than previously. Course in great condition, friendly green keepers. A little busy today as weather perfect. Last time I had the course to myself, strangely enough. A lot of golfers use buggies, me being a healthy 73 year old walked, which was a lot easier on the dry course.
Stunning Course
Really enjoyed this course. Amazing views over the Dee Estuary.
Course is well kept and modern.
The only down side was that the course was very busy....but cannot be helped.
Really friendly staff and members.
will definitely go back.
btw.....very hilly back 9......!
Excellent course for beginners or experienced players .
I have played this course a few times in all four seasons. I can definitely recommend the course for its challenges and superb views. Very friendly staff both in the main building and on the course itself. The greens are in superb condition, especially considering that we have had some very wet weather and snow during the winter. I particularly like the hole on the second nine where the green is at the bottom of a steep slope. Great views of the estuary from the tee. Some players may need a buggy plenty are available. Second nine quite challenging on the legs!. Overall can't fault it. I have not used the facilities yet but the bistro smell good, might have a Sunday lunch sometime which is reasonably priced I think.
Nice course.
Recommend playing here. The course is in good condition for the time of year. Greens are soft but very well cut and looked after.
Only a handful of winter tees.
Super course at an excellent price.
Course in very good condition considering recent weather. Superb views on the second nine. I would recommend a buggy if you are not very fit. Second nine quite undulating.
Brilliant
Great course and facilities. Me and a friend are ‘traveling golfers’ and play all over the north west. Easily the best greens in the area by a long long way. Felt like summer conditions on some of them in peak winter. Awesome staff too especially reception. Lovely lady on front of house. 👌
Course in excellent condition considering the time of year.
Great course, greens superb considering the time of year. Great views on second nine. Falling leaves made finding the ball tricky at times but it is Autumn. Didn't use the clubhouse on this occasion but I am told it is good. Plenty of buggies available for those who need one or prefer not to walk.
Great course, greens in good condition
This course is improving on each visit. Well done all the greenkeepers. An enjoyable course, some challenging holes, great views on the back nine.
Great condition for time of year.
Really like this course. Lots of quite short holes, but well designed, so not easy to simply smash your way round. Course and greens were in great condition given the rain we've had.
Fantastic!
Cracking course, challenging but not too difficult. The fairways were in mint condition and the greens were good! Good variety of holes with some cracking views to top it off. We played on a Friday and it wasn’t too busy so we didn’t get stuck behind at any point. Would recommend getting a buggy as the back 9 in particular has some big old hills. Lovely area for a post-round pint, very modern and clean facilities. For £18 it was absolutely spot on, we’ll definitely be back!
