We played Mon pm and as the forecast wasn't too good the course was really quiet.

Good condition, rough not too deep, greens also good. The second nine is a bit hilly towards the end of but overall great course, lovely setting, very nice lounge area, nothing negative.

Played on a Sunday afternoon, was quite busy although slower groups allowed us through. First 5 or so holes quite similar. Back 9 very different and good holes to play with great views. Overall course conditions good although felt greens could have been a little better. Decent value for money and an enjoyable round. It’s a tough walk (especially back 9) so worth getting a buggy if you’re not that fit!

Was a member here when it first opened over 20 years ago . Has matured to a really nice course now.

The course is in great condition, the new staff friendly &welcoming and the clubhouse and services on offer excellent.

Absolutely lovely course has some challenging holes, staff was friendly, would recommend using a buggie some holes a hilly but overall a nice course to play

Great value for money course. Excellent back 9 with varied holes and great views over the estuary. This is the third time of playing this year and it offers great value for money given its standing. Course in excellent condition throughout

My only moan was that not anyff sand in some of the bunkers handsome were full if water but great place to visit

Very good challenging course. If I went there again I would hire a buggy as is quite hilly.

Haven't played here for a while forgot the course layout but that didn't dissapoint me , pur gem , I teed off at 6-40 am and was finished at 9-10, will be going back and get a buggy as the back 9 has a few hills

Played this course and it has got better and better each time.

The new ownership has obviously put a great deal of money into the clubhouse and new lodges, the golf course too looks well cared for and is a credit to the staff tending it. Some challenging holes and great views on the second nine. Generally a really enjoyable round, despite losing a couple of balls. Very few other players on the course on a Tuesday afternoon. Much easier on the legs in dry conditions but buggies are available. Course easy to follow, well layed out .

Very hilly on back 9 - going from green to next tee not straight forward - had to walk past 2tees and greens to find next tee box - course and amenities were impeccable - staff very helpful - course knowledge is a must - clubhouse very friendly - I’d play it again in a heartbeat but I’d have a buggy - green staff to be applauded - thank you for having me

Played on the warmest day of the year so far. A few four balls

on the course but all friendly and as I was alone they cheerfully played me through. Quickly checked in and went onto course. Course much drier than when previously played and played shorter. Still a tricky course in places and I caught a few trees on this round. Greens were holding and played true. Got a little adventurous on the 17th and just hit the water . One ball lost. Enjoyed it and look forward to playing it again soon.

Not played here for a few years and was very impressed with the whole set up. Has recently been taken over and clearly a lot of money is being invested. Given the atrocious weather of late the course was in excellent dry condition. Greens a bit slow but only to be expected.

Clubhouse, bar, changing rooms all newly kitted out to a high standard. Paid £14 each - absolute bargain.

Fantastic course. Difficult conditions. High winds and rain,, lots and lots of rain!!! It's a challenging course with a lot of blind greens but it's in extremely great nick.

I have played the course several times now in varied

conditions. Dried out amazingly over the past few weeks. Still a bit damp second nine but improving all the time. Can't fault it price wise particularly when using the Hot Deals. Very friendly staff greeted me on arrival and updated me on course conditions when playing in the wet weather period. Tough second nine holes on the legs. Good exercise, but some may prefer a buggy. A bit shattered 15-18 but pacing myself now when playing alone. Balls not plugging in now the course is drying out, found quite a few more balls than I lost.
