Drove up from Long Island for the day as I’ve heard several people talk about the conditions and how good they were at patriot Hills. Staff was incredibly friendly and the driving range was very nice although we did have some issues with the ball dispenser. The course is in great shape the layout is fantastic lots of wildlife but if you’re playing late in the afternoon early evening please be careful as we came across a large blackbear and her cubs in between the 17th green and 18th Teebox. I’ll definitely come back, but it’ll be earlier in the morning

This course is gorgeous and well maintained. Completely unwalkable, carts are required for good reason. The starter warned us that the greens break less than you’d think. A surprisingly spot on description. Anything under 6 ft you just aim at the pin. Had my best round in 20 years here, so obviously bias on this review. Keep the driver in the bag, there’s maybe 2-3 holes where it makes any sense. Big penalties for missing the fairway!

First time playing and left very satisfied. Great layout that requires you to think about your options on each shot. The elevation change didn't bother me too much as the uphill approach's weren't too severe. Conditions were great although tee boxes a bit chunked up. Greens were pretty smooth but a little slow. Played on Labor Day and the pace was 4 hours for a foursome. Super nice starter and inside staff. Looking forward to coming back once the greens recover from aeration. Keep the ball in play off the tee.

Friendly staff & course in very good condition. Tough course but nice carts with GPS included makes it worth the price.

Didn't play well but still enjoyed the course. Only issue was that the greens were extremely slow on many holes but not consistent throughout. Had not experienced that before.

So I’ve probs played here now 6 or 7 times over the last 2 seasons and I find some new feature(s) on a hole or 2 each time. Some constant attractions are the obvious elevation changes - which makes club selection even more critical, the abundance of wildlife strolling everywhere you look, the lack of ppl on neighboring holes straying onto your fairway, or calling ‘fore’ after their wayward shot (haven’t heard that dreaded 4-letter word even once while here!)

Even without rain in August, the greens were green, the fairways were also green and well manicured. There were areas off the fairway that started to brown, but everywhere important was in excellent condition.

Make no mistake - it’s easy to put up a big # here. If the wind is a’ blowin- your score is a’ risin! But if you can divorce yourself from your driver or 3-wood and remember to hit a low 4 or 5 iron off the tee, you’ll find yourself in good position to make a lot of pars, or bogey at worst. And play those Par 3’s as if your Q-card depended on it. They are not terribly long or difficult, but they all have the same feature: a feature-less back drop. There are no trees or shrubs to help frame the fairway/approach, or the green itself - which makes it much harder for the eye to gushed range, depth, contours, etc. You are left relying on a # from a machine, and that’s not confidence-building when you’re relying on the “3’s” to save you from harm.

All in all another great round, another great experience, and as usual here, I found many more balls than I lost. ;))

Well maintained around all holes. Booked by Teeoff I paid reasonable price for playing golf. After pandemic all golf courses are charged a huge money to golf players. Time to reduce cost of booking fee now. It’s not able to play better fields of course anymore with affordable price for playing golf. Anyway I played with my colleague at the Patriot course. It was so nice and enjoyable moment while no one bother front and behind of our group.

If I have chance to book a great price then I definitely come back again this course.
