Coollattin forest

Let me start off by saying, now I know why there are so many tree's on the Golf course. As a challenge that's all it is. Every fairway tree lined. It offers nothing else. Fairly tight course. 40/50 yards offline, you are trouble. Exactly like my own course in Dublin. It's a joke.

1st straight boring.

2nd not bad, straight to right. Decent hole.

3rd short par 5. Boring.

4th straight to left. Boring.

5th inside the walled garden. Lovely but too short.

6th straight then right to left. Ok average.

7th par 3 uphill. It will test you with wind blowing.

8th nothing special. Very average par 4.

9th straight and boring.

10th decent par 3. Its fine.

11th par 5. Straight to right. Not bad.

12th par 5. Nice hole.

13th lovely par 4 water protecting the green.

14th boring. Straight to left. Silly tree protecting the green.

15th boring too short.

16th boring too short.

17th boring too short.

18th par 3. Its Ok nothing spectacular.

Over an hour from Dublin. Not worth going back.

Definitely not worth the €50 I paid.

Average course. Take away the trees and its very average.

6/10

Thanks but I won't be back....

First-rate course

I've been lucky to play some of Ireland's top parkland courses - this is as good as anywhere. Stunning scenery, beautiful mature trees and a good test of golf. A hidden gem not to be missed.

Nice greens

The course was in great condition but it's a pity the 16th and 17th have changed since the last time I played it. Greens were in perfect condition. Food was good in the clubhouse.

Annoymous

Course wasn’t in the best of conditions for this time of year, people where skipping holes and always right behind us hitting balls on top of us during our shots wasn’t the best experience.

Excellent Course

The course is in excellent condition , hard to imagine a course in the country that can beat this course for scenic views and course condition.

A few new tarmacadam pathways a tee boxes are a recent addition and they make a great difference.

Challenging course for high handicappers with large trees both side of most fairways but the semi rough each side is well cut back.

The greens are sloped and fast but very enjoyable and in excellent condition.

Great value for money and highly recommended.

Woodland

Lovely woodland course, but course layout hard to follow with little signs or help to know which way you are headed. Course condition average due to the weather but would imagine a beautiful course to play in spring/summer
