Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club

Such a joy to play Bunclody yesterday, it's in fantastic condition. It's a long trek but so worth it. Thank you Bunclody and thank you GolfNow for super deal to play there.

Stunning course in a cinematic setting, there's a crannog clubhouse, really sound staff. Quality food upstairs also. Greens are dialed in now. Please add vending machine on 10, thanks.

Amazing day. Course is magical. Fantastic condition - tee boxes, fairways and greens. Beautiful vistas everywhere.

And to cap it all we played in T-shirts in April.

Possibly one of the nicest golf courses I have ever played anywhere.

Clubhouse was immaculate and staff very friendly.

Cannot recommend this place enough.

I have been trying to play many local courses around the Kilkenny area, and Bunclody was high on the list of positive reviews. It did not disappoint- some stunning looking holes and every hole gives you a chance of par or better with decent shots. The finishing stretch is just a joy to look at let alone play. I thought the Par 3s were strong holes demanding good tee shots. It was a shame the lift from 17 to 18 was out of order, as the climb up when carrying comes at the end of a long walk around. The little seat at the top was welcome before teeing off and 18 is a very gentle par 5 from the forward tee so finishing with a birdie capped a wonderful day. I will certainly be a regular visitor to Bunclody as it was a course in great condition with absolutely true and consistent greens - fantastic value on the App for €35, an absolute bargain.

A real good test of golf. Played in quite difficult windy weather. Course conditions from Tee to Green were excellent. Plenty of variety across the 18 Holes. Well looked after by the Staff and local Members that we played with. Nice meal after round in Clubhouse. Look forward to going back. Highly recommend a visit

An absolutely fabulous golf course. In great condition throughout even after a lot of rain on the previous day. The fairways were very good and the greens were excellent. Well done to everyone at the club.

The course was in great condition for the time of year. The greens were excellent. The chap in the pro shop was very friendly.

Very nice track, great views, and signature holes. Greens in great shape, lots of trouble out there but very rewarding when you avoid it for your second shots. Beautiful clubhouse, excellent pro shop, restaurant and staff. A must 👌, (long walk though.)
