Powerscourt Golf Club - East Course

Played here yesterday, lovely golf course unfortunately they had corporate event on, took 3 hours for 10 holes then walked off. Course(s) were overbooked, we were waiting 10 minutes on each teebox !. Disappointed as played both powerscourt course several times and queuing took away from what is a fantastic venue

Really well designed layout offering challenging holes that offer immense enjoyment once completed from 1 to 18. Enjoyable for all levels of golfer. Can’t wait to play again.

Lovely variety of holes. Not too challenging although you need luck to find your ball in the rough, it's quite long. Fairways reasonably wide though so it takes a poor shot to find the rough. Greens fast and very difficult to read. Grain on greens affected pace massively. Difficult to hold greens on approach. Lots of slopes. A fair and enjoyable challenge.

Approaching the course we knew that we were in for a treat. The scenery was spectacular with the Wicklow Mountains forming the backdrop to the mature parkland course. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The course wound it’s way through undulations countryside draped in magnificent oak and beech trees before finishing up overlooking Powerscort House Hotel with the Sugarloaf mountain behind. Beautiful day out.

I've had the chance to play some very nice courses in the area but Powerscourt is on top of the list. For my level handicap (13) it is challenging but not overly so. The pace of play has always been perfect and the beauty of the course/surroundings is stunning.

Highly recommend giving it a go!

In great condition even after the recent storms. A good and fair test of golf for all levels.

It is advisable to stay on property because the drive was tedious and long to get there from an adjacent property. Course was lovely!

A brilliant course with great layout. Exceptional facilities including driving range and chipping and putting greens. The greens are fantastic , very fast but perfectly manicured. Course markings are accurate and plentiful , the scenery is stunning. I'll be back! Hope to play the east course next time!

First time playing the course with 3 friends we all agreed it was excellent and will definite be going back

The golf course is in good condition and it has couple of nice holes. It is perfect for a round of golf with friends or family. The scenery of this place is amazing. There is a beautiful house on the estate that is visible from first and last holes of the west course.

Fantastic course that will never let you down. Always challenging but that is why you go there. Fantastic course and great staff all round . My favourite course ever.

As we only got to play back 9 ,due to frost on front 9 ,we can only comment on on that 9 . It is quite long with interesting dog legs and nice par 3 s,greens in ok condition for winter

This course is spectacular, great views from every tee, the course is very challenging, the fairways are tight on some and more forgiving on others. Lots of trees but surprisingly not really in the way.
