Castlegregory Golf Club

My buddy and I definitely wanted to play a round of golf while visiting Ireland and Castlegregory was everything we expected! Tough 9hole course and able to get 18 holes completed. Thanks to the staff for a great experience!

First experience on a links! Very interesting, fun and varied golf course

Really enjoyed our round at Castlegregory. Course is in excellent shape and views can't be beat. Was longer than expected. Great mix of holes and very playable but also punishing fescue if you find it. We compared it to a mini Ballyliffin Old Course. Would definitely play again if in the area. Got a great rate on GolfNow which pushed us here otherwise may have missed it. Thankful for that, was loads of fun.

First time there and first play of golf in 3 years...

It was windy, many showers but we did really enjoy the course and had some great shots.

Nothing wrong with the course, staff or amenities, but we had a group of 3 lads from Massachusetts rock up for their tee time 15 minutes late. They played with 2 sets of clubs and took their sweet time taking photos, considering shots etc. Ideally these guys should have been made to wait rather than two other groups being held up.

Some greens were a touch weedy, but a good slop. Par 3 had plenty of hazards,

Absolutely loved this course from the layout to the overall conditions. Only slight exception is the current maintenance being done on the 7th hole but otherwise was fantastic.

Very friendly welcome, testing layout, very good condition given recent weather. Beautiful views.

Course and scenery were gorgeous and Celine was a pleasure to work with.

Enjoyed playing 18 holes on this 9 hole links course. Some long carries from some of the tees which were challenging when you do not know the course. No catering available at the clubhouse when we played, but the staff & members were very helpful & friendly.

This is pound for pound one of the best courses I’ve ever played. If the winds up it’s not for the faint hearted, but the layout and setting make you feel as though you’re playing a truly natural course at one with the links itself. A sunset round itself is truly breathtaking.

A very cheerful welcome from the lady captain who couldn’t have been more helpful and then out on to this outstanding 9 hole course. It is Royal West Norfolk with mountains, every bit as testing and with beautiful views especially from the 6th and 7th.

Such fun. This course is nestled into the large sand dunes so only one hole is actually flat and the rest have hugely raised greens, slanting fairways and undulations. It makes for some very interesting holes and creative thinking when you approach your shots. Not hugely long but lots of fun with amazing views of the mountains and beaches to boot. Don’t hesitate, play this course if you can

Awesome 9 hole links course with a challenging layout and beautiful views! The wind coming off the Atlantic makes for a good challenge as well. Solid price for what it is.

Very friendly service and welcoming members. The course is a tricky 9 hole and we definitely learned a lot on the first 9! Well worth a visit. Good value for money too. Greens could be a little faster but apart from that we enjoyed the course. Great scenery.
