This is not a high bank oval, there are a few straight away's where you can really open it up but be ready to break late into the turns and accelerate hard out of the apex! So much fun to play!!

Have played Ravens Claw over the years and the course condition now is as good as I've seen it.. The greens are not overly speedy but roll true and hold good shots.. The beverage cart was out frequently on this hot day... This is a very nice course and a 4 star facility and not a 5 star facility.. The 17th hole is as hard a par 3 as there is in the area and requires a 235 yd uphill shot to a tight green.. The par 4's are not long and many are birdie holes for a good player... The par 5's are amongst the tougher holes on the course.. All in all it was a very nice day on the course... Had my best score of the year today a 75...

Interesting layout. Many raised greens, 2 clubs high, greens, t boxes and fairways nicely groomed, soft. 2nd cut mid height, rough was in a natural state with weeds and some tall fescue areas. Nice view of twin nuclear towers. Very friendly staff, nice pro shop.

Course is in great condition. Beer cart always available. Kitchen brought out food as we played. Excellent

The course layout is interesting. Somewhat difficult to pick your landing areas when playing it for the first time. The greens were bumpy with many un-repaired ball marks and un-raked greens. It is a shame that people don't take care of golf courses as they should. The carts, gravel cart paths and general course conditions give the impression that additional investment is needed to make this a quality course. However, the layout holds your attention and is worth the price.

Very nicely done! Course bounced back great after a very wet week . Greens were not that fast but a bit tricky. Back nine slows do to some gimmicky holes but all in all a nice course.

Course was in great shape. Had severe thunderstorms the day before and you couldn't tell at all during the round.

I played here with a friend of mine and we enjoyed the course...although the greens were in bad shape because they had been aerated, the course was in overall good condition. Its not the most forgiving of courses, but isn't impossible and provides a good challenge. Was disappointed that the bar wasn't open for my 945 tee time and I had to start without my customary Bloody Mary... But afterwards the bar was nice and the sandwiches were great. Nice staff.

This course is in great shape. It was my first time there and unfortunately I learned where not to be the hard way on a few holes. Holes 9, 11 and 13 were tough tee shots as you can't exactly judge from the tee your proper angle to the hole. The bag man was awesome. He started cleaning my clubs as I was putting out on 18.

I played this course under poor conditions. Skies were cloudy and threatening to rain, but except for a few drops here and there I got thru the day. I was really glad I didn't let the threat of rain deter me from playing as it was such a pleasure to play this course. Condition of the course was the best I have played in all year. And I can't wait for the next opportunity to play here. I'm a senior and play from the senior tee box and the course is very playable for those players who don't quite hit the ball as far as they once did. For the younger folks it offers a good challenge and I would highly recommend giving it a try. I think you'll like the results.

It rained a ton the previous day, and we played here early the next morning. Course was a little wet, but all things considered was in good shape. A 7:50 tee time, took over 4 hours, a group 2 in front of us was holding up some things - ranger did say something to them on the back 9. Good course that I can play once or twice a year. A few gimmicky holes. Use the online rate, usually cheaper.

The greens are a month away from being good. They've been aerated and new grass hasn't taken hold to be mowed and smoothed. Should be fanatastic in June.

Great course. Fairways were top notch, bunkers (unfortunately) were in excellent shape and the overall layout was challenging. The greens were aerated, but I'll take the $20 deal to play this course. The staff was very friendly an the grounds crew accommodating with playing through. I hope to play this course when the ground work is complete.

Front nine completely different than the back which has great elevations. Punching the greens when we played but really nice and will be back for some more .

This course is challenging. There are many situations where you are better off leaving the driver in the bag and picking your shots. I would play this course again and make sure I charged my range finder. As the year goes on the rough is likely to get very nasty which will force you to be accurate.... You can tell from people who have played more than once. Certain holes have an excessive amount of divots filled in because it is the "lay up" area and considered safe. I think I could come back and save a stroke of two next time. Shot 91.
