Bella Vista Golf Course

For the money I think this is one of the best courses around the area. Decent pace of play. Great bargain in the evenings.

Very well conditioned and maintained. Great design/layout. Interesting and challenging. #14 is apar 3 island green. Designed by one of my favorite architects in the eastern Pennsylvania area. I usually play on a weekday afternoon and the pace of play is good.

You need to be on your "A" game. I am an 11 handicap. This course has many holes that will test your game. The island par 3 is great.

Nice layout and fun to play. Greens are nice but slow. Tees and fairways are excellent. The bunkers are terrible, too much sand in one and none in another, and full of rocks (some larger than golf balls). Clubhouse staff not the friendliest, starter and rangers were very nice. For an upscale course, I would expect it to have a dress code. It was disappointing to see players in tee shirts and denim.

The course is in good shape. The greens were fast enough, but not too fast. The layout is interesting, with each hole a bit different. Rangers helped keep the pace up on a Sunday and several of the staff encouraged us to enjoy the day. Full price on a weekend is high, but comparable to other similar courses.

course is in very good condition, has a good variety of holes for different distances. fairly wide open course but the rough can equal things out.

Good challenge... Only problem, no range at course. Plus you start off on a tough Par 5. The greens were a little rough with other golfers ball markings and some of the tee boxes were a little torn up from swings. All in all a good challenging course and worth the money. The Marshall's were helpful too.

Course was in pristine condition! Greens smooth, fast and fair. Very much enjoyed playing, a must play if you are in the area! Oh yeah, did I mention the island green 14th hole....enough said!

Very nice course but pace of play was pretty slow even for a holiday. Conditioning of the course was very good but probably not worth the 90 minute drive from central Jersey.

It is a very nice track to play. The down side is, no warm up facilities. No driving range or even a net to hit a few balls into. You start off cold with par 5. At my age I need to at least hit a half dozen warm up shots. All said I will play here again as the staff are very friendly, and the course is in very good shape.

This is one of my favorite courses to play. It has a lot of interesting holes and only two holes (the fifth on each nine) that I don't like. #5 is an extremely stupid design (one of my five worst golf holes anywhere) and #14, the island green hole, is difficult but fair, but the drop area is absolutely unfair.

This was my first trip to Bella Vista. The course was well maintained. It is a challenging course, but I loved it. The weather was perfect and the people we were paired up with were very friendly. It was a great day on the course.

Course from tee to pins in excellent condition & we were right on schedule pace of play wise, which was surprising considering the fall-like winds (i.e. gusts upward of 20) we encountered at some of the more elevated areas of the course.

Course was in great shape and you can't find a better value for the money in the area.

Whether your a beginner or expert, this course is a great play. Open, yet challenging. Staff was very friendly and was overall a good experience. Would most certainly go back.

Played on May 1st after we were hit with a ton of rain over the past few days. Course was soggy, but much better than expected. Finished in 3.5 hours, but have to caveat with the fact that the course was pretty empty (probably because of the weather). Fun layout, friendly staff. Have played here a few times and will certainly be back.

Course is in great condition. Really wet night before I played but the course drains really well. Turned out to be a beautiful day.

First time playing the course and I was thoroughly impressed. Virtually all holes are interesting and attractive. And tough enough (slope 134 from back tees of 6,400+ yds). Course condition was very good (The greens had recently been aerated but were very puttable.).
Also, fairly open; little in the way of woods or high grass to lose balls in.

I drive an hour to play here... its always in good condition... the greens had recently been airated, but still playable.

It was a bit chilly, we only had a twosome ahead of us, so no problems with a fast round.

Plan on going back a few times this year
