Good course
good course. somewhat challenging. layout is very nice. food and beverages are way overpriced but the golf is great. pro shop and ranger have a attitude. they act like everyone is a hacker and need to speed up even when you are ahead of time.
Early Round at Bella
Really like Bella, a good variety of holes and course is in good shape most times. My only issue with the course is that I don't like 18 as the finishing hole, a long downhill par 3 with trouble everywhere. Also, with this round, we booked the "fast" time at 7:50 and were constantly held up by the group in font of us who were at least a hole behind the group in front of them. It didn't seem like they were ever pushed to speed up.
Play a round here
Nice course, reasonably challenging, give it a try, you'll enjoy it.
Nice
Good Course; weather was terrible due to high windy conditions.
Nice Surprise
First time here, loved the course. Nice staff, interesting layout, nice elevation changes and very good shape. Only small drawbacks...visible housing on some holes and strange thing with greens. The greens looked to be bent grass, cut well, and appeared they would be lightning quick, but they were much slower than they look. I'd rather have slower greens in great shape than fast ones that aren't, but it takes a couple holes to adjust. $45 on a Saturday morning and $65 peak in summer is a great deal here.
Good layout
I like to evaluate course design and I didn't see anything on this course I didn't really like. The holes were varied and the terrain was used well. Generally I am not a fan of courses that end with a par 3 but at Bella Vista at least it was a good hole that has the potential to make or break a score. Course was well bunkered and while challenging, not overly penal in most areas. I played in early November on a chilly and very windy day and course was still in very good condition. Greens were on the slow side but that was to be expected this time of year. I could see that when they carry speed you would have to be very careful with the flat stick.
Great courae
Course looked great for this time of year. The greens looked amazing and something u would see on the PGA tour
Fair course with sufficeient challenge
Recommend - Great value and great scenery, well maintained.
No place for singles
I booked to join a 3xsome. A group of 4 golfers arrived. They were told I would be joining them. The group then told the starter that they had phoned the pro shop earlier, and they were given the OK to play as a foursome. The starter did not check with the pro shop to confirm, and simply told me that I "better go and try to catch somebody". I asked how could that be since I booked through GolfNow. He had no answer. So I was simply dismissed for the group they chose to accommodate. I should receive the same level of priority as any other golfer. And clearly a "reservation" means little. So, I will never go there again.
Plus, their greens are like carpet. They tout themselves as having great conditions. Well, if their greens are slower than the most unkempt muni-course, I have to disagree with them.
Beautiful course best in Montgomery county
Beautiful courses me and my friends play it often lot of uneven lies and island green 14th well managed course pace of play was great finish in 3 hrs the burgers are huge
Beware of the fairway bunkers...
Nice course, windy day challenges, great value thru golfnow, staff even let us tee off a little early. 78 mile round trip , with tolls and gas prices the rate has to be low to make overall value worthwhile which it was.
What a Jewel , A Diamond in the Rough
If you have not, You should, If you play, Play at Bella Vista
With golf now, it`s a great bargain, The staff was great. There is a shot for every club in the bag. The greens were PERFECT!
Really, if you can play golf, Play,,, Bella Vista
I LOVE THIS PLACE !!!!!!!.
Very good course, if you score the right price.
Booked tee time for $27.00 per person which was well worth it. The course was in good order, the pace was a bit slow but no one riding up on us throughout which was nice. Plays pretty open for being in a development. Minus the 45-50' drive there, it was a real steal for the price. If I were closer to that area, I would definitely frequent BV more.
lives up to the name
Bella Vista is a beautifuly spread out design. Its one of my favorite courses in PA. Well cared for and challenging, this course can test even the more skilled golfers. I love it and recommend it highly.
Great course for price
Great shape, good price only thing was slow pace of play.
Love this place....
I thought the course was in excellent shape. The pace of play was fast except for our group who took 4 3/4 to do it.
Great layout and conditions plus very well marked with yardages
One of the best courses in Eastern Pa, for conditions and value.
late round delays
Perhaps the late tee time was a mistake but a foursome with decent pace should be able to finish before a late summer day/evening. We played 17 holes at a good pace but wwete forced to stop due to several groups vying to finish the par 3 18th. The course was very green, maybe two poorly kept tee boxes of the lot we played. As for my expectations for a course open to the public, only a few come to mind. I certainly plan to not only play these links again but will spread the word to friends. My most serious reason I would consider not returning is due to the poor bar tending at the turn..
Great deal
Played on a perfect Saturday afternoon with some friends. Course is always well maintained and staff is friendly. We will certainly be playing there again.
Good course for the money
Some funky tee shots for a first time player, but a great course for the money. Will be back again.
