The ambiance is that of a good public course.

The sand is hard (might be because of the weather)

The greens were beat-up around the fringe.

I paid $96 and some change for me and my wife but felt that didn't match the experience.

I don't mind paying over $100 for a round for one as we have a Golf savings account for just the occasion.

I believe the prices may have been inflated due to the season of northerners migrating south to continue to play golf during the winters months in the USA.

The staff was just so-so. There was an elderly gentlemen that found it difficult to return my greeting as he barely lift his head and gave me a soft nod.

Now that was like bizzaro world because the golf patrons were extremely nice which is usually the opposite on a course. I guess we all were just thankful to be out on the course during this pandemic season.

I would play this course again and recommend it to a friend if the fee is less than $30 and I am in the area as I won't make a special trip to play it.

Overall I really enjoyed this course. Great layout, greens rolled really nice. Tee boxes and some areas in fairways need work. But all landing areas were nice. I will definitely play here again.

Course was in overall decent shape, tee beds and some spots and fairways need some work. The greens were in excellent shape. Greenskeepers, marshals and starters were all very friendly and helpful.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful.

There are a few greens and tee boxes that are in the regrowth process but the course is kept up and you can see that staff is working hard to improve the course.

The gentleman working in the grill area was great and worked hard to get the food completed in a timely manner and make sure we were taken care of.

We will go back for sure.

Course has a challenging layout, greens are.fast and true. Best course in Gainesville.

Great course! My only complaint is no grass on tee boxes for some reason and giant oak trees block most fairway shots. Please trim back trees.

Great track. Really enjoyed the round golf. Course has s a lot of character and I look forward to playing it again.

Booked the Reservation on Friday Night on GOLFNOW for a Monday Morning Tee time - Arrived for our 10:36 AM Tee Time to find out the Course is CLOSED ON MONDAY'S .....

GOLFNOW does not recognize this in their Reservation System so don't make the same mistake we did.....

Let me start off by saying greens were amazing! My son who was up from Orlando played this great course. A few of the tee boxes

were in a little rough shape and has some drainage issues in a couple of spots. I enjoyed playing with my son and we finished the round in about 4 hours excellent service by the cart girl..

Course does not handle water well. Limited to cart paths only on the course. Requires a lot of walking. Was not advised of this before booking tee time.

The course is in pretty rough shape. Some holes are in okay shape while others are pretty bad. The greens were pretty good but the course in general needs a lot of work. If you pay more then $20-$25 to play here you won’t be happy. Could be a fun course if it was taken better care of.
