Good Value
Greens are in great shape - tee boxes could use some work.
Greenlee Esst: A good value golf course.
If you're looking for a solid round of value golf, Grenelefe East is worth playing. If you're looking for the Grenelefe of old, you'll be very disappointed as I was.
Greens were in great shape for this time of year smooth, good rolling, receptive just a touch slow. Fairways in good shape with little need to roll the ball. Bunkers and roughs were in pretty bad shape with lots of weed clusters in both. Remember the word "value" and you won't be disappointed.
Good test for any skill level
Excellent turf on greens. Fairways are thin and some bare spots. Overall good condition at a reasonable rate. Requires right club selection and shot placement. Bunkers, although not many, need work. I would recommend this course
Great greens
It was in pretty good shape, greens have lots of grass, overall really nice.
Much improved course
We played here about 3 years ag and it was not very good. They have done a lot of work to lmprove the playing areas particularly the greens .
The course was in great shape
Have played this course a few times and always find it to be in good shape. Pace of play has always been excellent, as well as the staff being very good at their jobs and are always friendly
Grenelefe East
Check inwent smoothly, cart assignments were excellent, teed off ahead of our scheduled time.
Very enjoyable round of golf
My wife and I played the course in 3 1/2 hours. The course was interesting and in nice shape. The greens were in great shape, but slow. We would go back to play this course.
The course was very good
The greens were very well maintained which I like the fairways were a little sparse in some areas but overall the course was in good shape
The course conditions are average
Course conditions are average, played the East course, greens are in good condition for this time of the year.
This course is okay
Golf now i love it. The couse ON hot deal is great
great improvement on conditions
I have played the south and east course. The south has wider fairways and greens but both offer different challenges. The pro (bill) is ver accommodating. It is nice to see an old traditional course come back . I hope it continues to get the attention it deserves.

Love these golf courses, especially the east course. They are fun to play as well as challenging. Courses are in good condition, staff is friendly and helpful. Will play again soon.
Nice day to be out
Weather hot for December they kept course well watered so fairways were soft. Played there many times over the years greens are always slow, but the rest of the course is in good shape. the sand traps need some attention but are playable.
Great play
Nice surrounding and excellent service of staff especially from starter.
We recommend this course to everyone
Thanks
South course has a few great holes
I have played this course at different times of the year and this is the best it has been in bar the bunkers they are truly awful
That aside it was a hassle free round and good value through golfnow
Rain with no rain check
Started out in light rain and kept getting harder as we played. Cart broke down on 7th hole and no one else on the course. Had to walk back to cart shed so we could get a cart for our clubs, etc. Went back to 7 tee to get clubs and continue play, but had to stop playing as was raining very very hard. Had to quit so only got 8 holes in. Staff said only golf now could issue refund and would not help in any way. Very disappointed in staff. Would not recomend to anyone.
What an unexpected pleasure to find this course!
Fairways and greens were awesome! Rough was mostly Bermuda grass which was amazingly still green for this time of year in Florida. Overseeding was complete and gave perfect lies and true-running putts. Sand traps need work!
Well worth a play
We found the course in good conditions for the time of year, some challenging holes greens very good for the time of year.
The estate looks a bit run down and the facilities but every one was friendly and helpful. We have played twice now and are going back next week before our return to the UK. We wish we had found this course earlier in our stay
Val & Andy Andrew
Apparently you played the East course because the south was horrible!
