Improving all the time
The staff are always friendly and accommodating. A pleasure to deal with. The course is improving daily and expect with cooler weather and top dressing done it will continue to do so.
Had a great time , Staff is very friendly
The day started out questionable because of the weather but it cleared up nicely. The greens were well kept , for the most part , and the fairways were nice , when I was fortunate enough to hit from them..
Not my best score by far but I had a great time..
I'll be back.
Grenelefe East
This not crowded especially after 12Noon. Fairways are just fair and green below average and slow. Course could be great but I think they are struggling financially so there is not much money for improvement. Could not beat the $5 green fee for cart and 18 holes and was a good place to practice. I also had my wife and daughter who are just starting the game so was great for them. They were not rushed!.
Good price
Overall not bad couple of greens needed a little work but price was right.
grenelefe adventure
the rough was so high that you could not find your ball. Sometimes you lost your ball in fairway. Greens were spotty with turf or dirt alot of bear spots.
Nice layout.
Greens had a lot of fungus , too much watering or rain.
Dated
Course needs some attention, dated facilities too. The sadest part was my driver was lifted from my bag, hit my 3 wood well since I had no driver.
Friendly staff.
Got an early tee time for South course. Got there a few mind early and was told to go play the East course no reason given bit it looked like a tournament was being held on the South course. OK no problem. We go to the east course and immediately after stepping on the tee a party pulled up behind us. We felt rushed immediately and for the most part of the game. The grounds felt a bit over saturated and the greens needed better care. The course played nice not to hard but just hard enough but with all the other factors involved it wasn't that enjoyable. For $50 for a foursome though I can't complain to much.
Rough Shape
Greens were mowed but had a lot of weeds in the greens.Fairways, some were good, others were "patchy" with a lot of bare spots. Seems to me that the course has gone "downhill" since the last time I played it, six months ago .Don't think the yardage markers are anywhere near correct!
Horrible
This is the most hoorible course I have ever played, the greens, fairways and tee boxes ALL HORRIBLE. This course should not even be on Golfnow. NEVER GO BACK!
Course needs a tremendous amount of TLC
From tee to green course needs a lot of work. Bare ground on tee boxes, clumps of grass on fairways, and greens in very poor condition. Not sure this course is getting enough play to make it economically feasible to maintain.
The worst course ever
I have played many course in the Central Florida Area and this course is by far the worst coarse I have ever played or seen. GolfNow.com should not mess up their reputation by allowing a course like that on their site. Course was so bad. Green and tees were patchy, weeds sand bumps. Horrible! It was so bad that along the side of the fairway you can see where hogs are digging up the area. Bad course. Will never play it again. Wish I could get my money back.
Remote Remote
We drove seventy five miles from Casselberry Fl. and my son drove up from Cape Coral Fl. ( about one hundred and forty miles) to have agood time at a good course...What a disappointment, we would have done better playing in a cow pasture.
Course With Potential
This course has a ton of potential but is only in average condition. Tee boxes need the most help but the entire course could use manicuring. Worth the "Golf Now" price but I would not pay the winter rates.
Could be better
Great layout, and Billy, in the Pro Shop, is extremely pleasant. However, course could be so great, but appears no money in being spent to improve/maintain this once tremendous course.
East Course at Greenlefe
The course has seen better days, however it is still a good day out on the course.
Classic FL track
Its an older course but most holes are challenging, most have small greens that require a precise approach shot. Fairways are in decent condition and most greens are well kept. The greens fees are outstanding for the quality of play provided. I will be returning regularly.
Stay away from this course
We have golfed many courses since our arrival in December, this course was the absolutely worse, very poor condition. Greens are in very bad sharp and hard to find grass on the fairway, very lucky if your ball positions itself on a little grass. Spoke to 3 persons that work at the course, all three could careless, the course operations need to hire some people that actually do care, show your customers that their disappointment becomes your problem, and that you actually appreciate feedback. Finally take down the dress code sign, good expensive dress should not be worn here, dirt flying everywhere.
