Encouraging
Greens are now good to very good but fairways and tees still need some attention. Things have improved and we shall return next year when hopefully they will be better still.
Encouraging!
Nice layout
Course is in good shape with exception of some of the tee boxes are starting to need some attention. Some bunkers also a little rough.
Enjoyable
Cannot be more pleased with my round .Last fall I brought up the ratings for this course & got some negative ratings & after playing it , for the life of me I cannot see why. In my view after playing it I cannot justify those poor ratings. I would recommend this course to anyone.I would like to thank Grenelefe for this enjoyable round.
Good times good price.
Course had a great layout. Old arnie Palmer design. The rough was a bit dead and patchy. Greens / fairways were in good condition. Some holes were risk reward, others fairly tight. Overall a good experience.
Ok course needs some TLC
Course needs some TLC Was a nice day, course not busy so were able to play by ourselves which was nice. We finished at 5:20 pm and could not even go into pro shop to use the washroom or wash our hands. That was very disappointing, will not be back.
Is this a golf course?
This was absolutely the worst conditioned golf course that I have played on this winter and early Spring. Greens were pock-marked and extremely slow. The greens were the best feature of the course. Fairways had grass in some places and sand or hardpan on much of it. The rough was rough, and hard to distinguish from the fairway. I will not revisit this course until perhaps fall. Hopefully they will do some fertilizing and maintenance this Spring and summer. The layout was very interesting, but tight lies made the course nearly unplayable. Sorry! Money has to be put into to this course or playing rates dropped to $10.00 a round.
Nice course to play
I had played over a Diamond Back the day before and what difference in the courses. Grenelefe has kept their course in good shape and it was fun to play while Diamond Backs greens look like a picked over cow pasture. When I come down next year to visit my family I'll definitely book a tee time at Grenelefe again.
Needs a lot of work
The greens were immaculate. But that is all I can say that was good. It's time to put some money into the rest of the course now.
3hr round
Greens in good condition. Fairways in Florida winter shape. Played fast, good weather,no problems.
Grenelefe
This course was the worst one we played in 3 weeks. We played courses for $25 that were in better condition and the $40 green fee was outrageous for the course conditions.
disappointed
We were looking for a much better experience, sparse conditions on fairway edges and several places where there was no grass. This would have been a beautiful course at one time, ennoyed the layout but disappointed in the conditions. We are wonderingbif the east course is any better?
greens are ok
the only reason I would not recommend this course is that it is a bit far away from Disneyand I think there are many other courses closer that are just as nice
Great condition
Heavy rain before we teed off and I think there were only a few golfers on the course, never waited and finished in 3 hours. Because of the rain course was a bit soft and greens were slow but were easy to read. Nice mix of par 3's and 5's and some short par 4's for birdies with well placed shots. Moderately challenging but nothing too difficult.
A great round at Grenelefe
Overall, a very pleasant day and excellent value. Although the rough is very hard and certainly lacks grass, lies were playable. The fairways were great and the greens excellent. I've found the course where I'll play for the rest of my Florida stay.
Lot of bare spots
There was a lot of bare spots not much grass on the fairways , not sure if that us what to expect at this time of year , greens good. The golf course should have a diagram of the course for first time people, it is always nice to see how the course is laid out, especially water .
Grenelefe
This condition of the course was not worth what the green fees cost.
