Starr Pass

One of the best courses in Tucson. Had an 8AM tee time, starter let me go as a single at 715, off the course by 930, awesome morning. Greens were faster than usual but very good shape.

Starr Pass

By far my favorite course in Tucson. Probably one of my favorite courses all time. Just perfect conditions and beautiful scenery. Challenging design so get ready for some brutal shots but they are not stupid shots. Best greens in Tucson too.

Corporate Takeover

After Corporate Takeover this course is in need of much attention. As an example, the fringe on the greens are not being taken care of on many of the holes. It was so bad we played 9 holes instead if 18 and left. The staff has also changed for the worse.

Favorite course in tucson

Pace of play and condition of course was great. Only down side was the starter was rude, but can’t let other peoples attitudes ruin your day.

A fun round, worth the price

It was hot and humid, typical for the date.

Starter friendly, helpful, explained we could play Coyote 9 (after Rattler 9) if we wanted. Since Coyote may be best of the three, we did, no waiting at all during entire round.

Conditions: excellent (too many unfixed ball marks but appeared recent, from that days play?).

Greens mid-speed, smooth, held nicely.

Some of the best fairways and bunkers in Tucson Clubhouse bar decent, resort prices.

Tough to go wrong, enjoyable golf.

A true Golfers course!

Amazing course! First time playing, will definitely be back. A great target course, pay attention to the barber poles. Greens were phenomenal, rolled really pure. Couple of dried out spots, but that’s expected this time of the year. Will enjoy the next round even more with a little bit of course knowledge!

Great desert course layout

Starter was an unfriendly transplant from your local muni course, must be the father in law of one of the staff.

Design is beautiful and fun, a second and third round would make it easier and even more fun, there is a learning curve to the layout.

some super challenging, interesting and thoughtful par 4’s, don’t plan on hitting driver off every tee.

many of the tee boxes were in poor shape, not near flat with some serious undulation. we had to work sometimes to find a flat spot to hit from.

Overall a great course, green looked nice, but rolled pretty slow the day we played, made it a bit tougher. some maintenance needed around a few of the more irregular ( and very cool) green complexes

Smooth

What a pleasure to play a Tucson course in late July with perfectly smooth and receptive greens!! If you miss a putt that’s on you— Starr Pass is a challenging course but worth the effort.
