Great Value Course!
Nothing but positive feedback! My self and my group were extremely happy with this course. The staff is very friendly, the course pace was perfect, not rushed, just how good should be played! The course was well kept, I highly recommend it!
Photos are misleading
This is a dirt-track muni. The people are nice. The course is a joke.
I’m hoping my grandson may start playing and this can be a good course to introduce him to the game. Good First Tee facility on the grounds.
Very Nice Muni Course
Greens were very firm and wouldn't hold a nice shot into the greens. Had to hit the shot very high and lots of spin to stay on the green. Found it was best to hit it close then chip or putt it to front or center pin. Greens are small so you're never far from most pins. Was better off hitting it to the front of the green to get to a back pin. Had a decent round in the 70s. Would play it again.
Good golf
The course was in pretty good condition. We had to rent clubs for our guest. The clubs were decent, but $50 for rental is a high price to pay.
Decent Course
The tee boxes, fairways at El Rio were in good shape. The greens were okay. Some better than others. The biggest complaint was the pace of play on this particular day. The round was almost 5 hours and 30 minutes long.
Course management
Great!!. Very professional, welcoming and the pace of golfing, the BEST in Tucson and I golfed in most courses!!.. the fairway grass is beautiful to golf from!!. I golf three times a week and will golf at El Rio once a week. Thank you.
AZ
Fun course! Very slow but happy to meet and be with so many tourists that visit our great weather, how can one not include a round of golf in our great Old Town! Tucson.
Chief’s El Rio Review
We had a good round on a Sunday afternoon. Play was a little slow but we’re retired so it doesn’t bother us. Course was in good condition… We will play El Rio again. It
