Carts are lacking for the quality of course.

Beautiful course. Yardages and signage could use an upgrade. No GPS in the carts was disappointing for such a beautiful track. Overall nice track needs a bev cart

Thanks for playing and the thoughts on signage and the golf cars. We'll review items as we begin the 2026 Budget process and see where we can meet the expectations. Thanks!

Improvements

The course was beautiful and well kept. Gorgeous scenery. Challenging holes - not for beginners. Be sure to bring a scope as their are no maps of holes, distances, etc. No marshalls. We were stuck behind a 3-some who did not know how to keep things moving so we skipped a hole to leave them behind and had the course to

ourselves. No on course refreshments so bring all your own food/drinks. Gas powered carts :<(

The Presevrve @ Saddllewood

Played the Mountain View course prior to the Preserve course. I really like Mountain View. The Preserve has beautiful views and elevation changes, but it is very frustrating to play. The gas carts are very loud and do not have gps. Unless you use your phone for gps you will learn the hard way that a beautiful drive down the middle ends up in a rocky washout area. You have to drive back and forth to bag drop to pickup your club and repeat this to drop off your clubs and cart. The course is extremely dried out and if you miss the greens by a yard or so your ball is gone. These were the slowest greens I have played all month in Arizona. I wouldn’t play here again for the price.

Unusual

Hostess at the Bar/restaurant very rude in explaining that no drinks or beer could be sold to go on the course because of Liquor license/ starter said water was available on course/ 3 separate stations with ice and water but NO CUPS/ No beverage cart on a busy Saturday/ course layout and conditions were fine/ $12 hot dog with no beverage was a little hard to swallow

Beautiful views

Course is very nice, mountain views are awesome.

Fairways are very well kept. The greens were a little rough.

Really enjoyed this course and will do it again.

Great design

One of my favorite public courses in the Tucson. area. Course design is strong, with a variety of holes, fabulous views from many elevated tees. Course condition is very good with attention given to the overseeding. Greens running much faster than they did a few years ago. Top choice if you like a challlenge combined with views and an interesting array of holes.

Gem. Best course in Arizona.

Amazing layout. Worth the price but expensive. Lace is tight but doable.

A gem in the Tucson area

Played 6 courses in Tucson and Phoenix on a guys trip in November, and this was our favorite!

Amazing views and elevated teeboxes on a majority of holes, great condition, fun, peaceful, good pace, friendly staff, everything a golf course should be!

Only minor downsides: range is present but not included, no service cart or halfway house, so bring your own lunch or snacks.

Great course, marred by really slow play

Would recommend but for the pace of play (over 5 hours) as a result of 2 foursomes mimicking snails. Where was the marshall???

Solid as always

Greens were quick, but very true. Always in a good condition course, cool layout. Sometime you’ll bump into the back of a slow foursome putting everything out like they’re at the US Open, but after a few holes they’ll let you through. 10/10 would hit again.

Reward program

would like to see the rewards program reinstituted. When also, the removal of many of your large trees have reduced the amount of shade that used to be there. Not at all happy with less shade.
