About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Skip It!
Though the Hot Deal rate was very reasonable and the greens putted very true I would not recommend teeing it up here. The fairways were cut so tight and "turf" so hard, it required perfect contact to hit a quality shot. Was better hitting out of the rough where there was at least grass under the ball. I was told by one of the guys in my group, it's because the roll out on low flying drives, fairway woods is significant which appeals to retired members. Regardless, it made hitting approach shots, chipping extremely difficult. Second, there was no refreshment cart on the course, no drinking fountain until #14 hole and the halfway refreshment stand was closed. (Was told it closes at 2pm). The fact the wind was blowing at 30mph didn't make things any easier, though that's not a fault of the golf course. Too bad, because the course layout is fun and the greens, although like cement putted very true.
Summer time is coming
Course is good,but showing signs of summer time conditions which is inevitable this time of year our heat doesn't help.
Great course – well maintained!
It was worth the drive from Southeast Tucson. Great staff, great pro shop, well maintain Course, excellent greens. All-around good experience!

Nice Course
Course was in good condition. To be fair we were rained out on hole 14 as a squall with lightening came through.

Wide fairways. Good pace of play. Staff was friendly. Weather gorgeous and views to match.
All restaurants were closed when we got done so that was a shame as we were starving.no food past 4 pm on Sundays.
We had nobody in front or behind us so pace of play this Sunday afternoon was good.
Wonderful course, strange cart rule
The course is very well maintained and a fun layout. If you’re a single, be prepared to ride with another single or player from the threesome you’re joining. They don’t give you your own cart.
Golf Course With No Character
I'm 60 years old and have played a bunch of different golf courses in my life, but this course is easily the most forgettable and characterless designed courses I've played. Most of the problem is that the course is located in the flat part of northern Tucson and there are virtually no trees on the course. Also, the land is flat and boring, so there just isn't much to look at while you play. On the positive side, the golf course is in good condition and the greens roll fairly well. Plz know that I don't enjoy being so critical here, but I would never choose to play here again.
Excellent Course
The only cons I have are that there were no ball washers on the course or cart as well as no coolers on the cart. Small potatoes for a nice course. Great round and experience overall!
