SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Club
About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Best Value in Town!
If you can handle a bit of a drive, Saddlebrook Ranch may be the best value in Tucson for late summer golf.
Greens are exceptional, the fairways are tightly mown and the tee boxes are flat - a surprising positive in the golf industry these days. I played as a solo and for $26 it is unbeatable. Far worse places charging far more.
They are shutting down for their Fall/Winter maintenance in 2 weeks, but I plan to return before then. Worth the drive.
Just awesome
My wife and I played here recently! Course was great! If you get a hot tee time, the price is in beatable! Pro shop staff were very inviting and friendly! I will be visiting again! Thing to note, the hot dog place is only open until 2! I wish it was open later so I could get a dog. Missed them closing by 10 minutes each time I've played
Golf Shop Attendant was more interested in watching TV on duty than being courteous to patrons.
Old retirees that are rude and very unfriendly to my me and my young son who is an avid competitive golfer. Unless you’re an old resident they are very unwelcoming but gladly take your money to stay afloat. Will not likely play here again as the staff (except the range master) is always extremely rude and miserable for older people.
OUTSTANDING!!
Course was in great condition. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Putting greens were the best I have played in Tucson and surrounding areas, top tier!
Perfect Summer Round
At a time of the year where HOT is the norm, we were graced with perfect conditions. The course was in excellent condition with the monsoon rains greening up the fairways and softening the greens. A day to remember!
5 hours to play 18 holes
Have played this course many times and 18 holes were completed in 4hours to 4 hrs. 15 minutes.
A few foursomes of men in front of us were playing a social “Scramble”. They were SO slow! The first 3 holes took an hour. Completed 18 in 5 hours! Was NOT fun waiting on every hole while they chatted and fist bumped each other. after shots and putts. Ranger did come around while we were waiting to tee off on #4 and said he requested the first 4-some to pick-up the pace. Image how long it would take these groups of four to play a regular round of golf! They certainly did not know golf etiquette.
So disappointed.
Greens make 3-putt the norm
It has been a few years since playing SBR. It may be a few more years again.
Though low on the rate, the attitude towards non-members was obvious at check in. First exposure to this for me from any course. Pace of play was good. Bunkers were great with actual sand, not desert dirt - there is a difference. I'm am an above average putter with <34 putts per round however the uneven-ness of the greens did not provide me a chance to even putt well. It was enjoyable to play this course again. Maybe I should see if The Preserve & Mountainview are just more of the same.
Always a Solid Course - Great Staff
Pace of play was great, rangers out and making things flow. Club house is always a treat with amazing food and drinks at fair prices. We love visiting this course, solid grounds and overall great experience every time.
