Preserve Golf Course

I booked this place then I un booked it due to some of the reviews and comments. Then I booked it again because I had been wanting to play this course for over a year. Don’t let the reviews get to you. It is beautiful and almost perfect. Only problem I had with the place was no cart girl. Other than that?? It was one of the best places I’ve played in Tucson.

Early morning summer round. Higher, and cooler than Tucson. Course still transitioning from winter grass so fairways very close cut, a bit dormant (lots of roll) but playable. Course’s numerous bunkers in great shape. Greens visually splotchy but smooth, held ok, at mid-speed.

The layout is eye catching, amenities top notch (restrooms w/water and ice every four holes.

Play it if you can, sometimes offered at a low rate so even if a bit of a drive, give it a go.

Very laid back and very enjoyable if you want a mellow round of golf. Not many people out there for a Saturday afternoon. I felt it was slightly over priced for the course conditions. For $100 I’d expect complimentary range balls. Felt more like a $60 course. It was extremely dry and could use a bit of water. Greens were super fast and rolled true. Very fun course and lots of fairway bunkers to navigate. Staff and all the locals were very nice. Had dinner at the clubhouse afterwards. Food was phenomenal and well priced. Bit of a drive from Tucson. I’d give it another try during the winter when it’s not so dry.

Good to see the Preserve overseeding with winter rye grass again. Makes a big difference. This course is probably my favorite public course in the Tucson area. It had a great variety of hole designs and has several particularly challenging holes. The views are fabulous.

We played on a Sunny Sunday in January. The staff was helpful and friendly. The course was in marvelous condition. Too many blind shots and hidden hazards for our liking. No satellite images and no warnings of the hazards. Ruined a great round for us...

When I made the reservation on line I was charged for one of the three players and again at the course. The golf course personnel are not trained properly or Golf Now is not trustworthy. There is no number to call and discuss this issue. Beware of Golf Now!

Dessert looms on most holes with an errant shot. Course in great shape. Only negative is that the price is on the high end when compared to other courses in the area.

Great layout. The course was challenging and in good condition overall with the exception of the bunkers, which were terrible. The condition of the bunkers kept me from giving this a higher rating.

Course needs a lot of work hope it’s ready for the season!

Stunning views from nearly every tee box. Course was in excellent shape, highly recommended.

Great course! Great views! Nice staff! The layout is so fun! Every single hole is just flat out set up to offer visual appeal and shot making situations. The greens are rolling great; slightly slow but true. Simply put, an amazing value!
