Preserve Golf Course

The Preserve is in fantastic shape right now. As good as anywhere in Tucson. I would highly recommend. Tees and fairways are in excellent condition. Greens are little slow, but rolling really well if not excellent....as good as you can expect in Tucson in September. There are some aprons that are still being worked on, but really they are not any different than any other course.

Well managed, great condition with friendly staff.

Bunkers need more sand and distances are not well marked.

Otherwise near perfect and my favorite course in Tucson.

Tees and fairways were excellent. Aprons are a bit spotty. Sand traps need extensive work to be done. Green speed is a bit slow but in fine condition. /all staff were very very polite and helpful.

Read some previous reviews and was concerned about the greens. Yes, rolling a tad bit slower than you would expect but honestly I’m applauding the course crew for keeping the grass a tad longer. Yes, greens were a little slow but I’d prefer the longer grass if it protects the greens from this heat. The course was really gorgeous and the layout makes you place shots but if you know your distances you can make mistakes.

Greens are very slow ! Several greens need work on exterior of green .Fairway’s need some work to bring the course to its potential !

Course was absolutely fantastic. The views alone are worth it and the course is fun, challenging and in great shape. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Really had the perfect day. And the price was insanely affordable. Granted it is in the summer but definitely a must play.

This layout is great. Unfortunately the greens were long, under repairs and very slow.

The course reopened after 3 weeks of maintenance and the conditions were rough. The holes looked like they had not been changed in two weeks and the bunkers were hard packed dirt. There are numerous areas of sod that need to be marked ground under repair. The course layout and views are outstanding.

For the views and 5-8 degree cooler temps, hard to find a better place to play than the Preserve! Had a great time, with a challenging layout. Pace bottlenecked a little bit on the back. Bonus is the ample wildlife. Playing partner said it’s like a golf zoo.

Got a great rate to play this spectacular course. Great shape, very challenging.

Good course but one of my biggest gripes is there are no hole or course maps…anywhere. Not on the hole itself or on the scorecard. Hitting into a blind par 4? Who knows if there is an unplayable area before the green. Hole and scorecard only give yardages. Felt like this was a standard for a golf course before I played here. Also, there is no beverage cart and no to go alcoholic drinks. Only canned beer/seltzers. I guess it is implied to bring your own drinks…

Great experience. Got me on right away. Three hour round!!! Only challenge seems to be some greens, but the vast majority of them were ok.
