Preserve Golf Course

Way over priced for what you get. No water on course, they are painting there greens. No snack shack or drinking water on course. Very nice layout but very poorly run.

This is one of my absolute favorites in the Tucson metro. The back nine is clearly my favorite. Try to play 3-4 times a year.

Played this course 8 years ago and it was in excellent condition then. Playing it this time was disappointing. Greens and fairways were not in great shape and do not reflect the price charged. Carts do not have GPS and the the score card does not reflect the course layout - again, disappointing. On the positive side, the staff was great, proshop well stocked, and the food & drinks were delicious.

Great course layout w/ interesting holes and views. Tees and greens in good shape, fairways mostly dormant bermuda, no overseed.

We were a twosome, stuck behind a foursome. They were not slow, but never offered to let us go through. No rangers, no beer cart..

Worth playing for layout and vies, but temoer expectations per above comments.

Overall I’m a big fan of the preserves. They have a great course layout that is both challenging but fun. That being said the rates this time of year were close to $100. For that price I would have expected the course be in tip top shape. The greens played well however the fairways were very disappointing and not what I expected.

The fairways are in such bad shape that I walked off the couse after 9 holes and went to Randolf to continue may day. The $95 I paid went to pure waste.

Would rate this a 5 if they overseeded the fairways in winter. When they did that a number of years ago, this track was one of my top 2 or 3 in the Tucson area. One improvement this year is the greens, which are smooth and fast. I think the $100 price tag (with taxes) is a bit much for the condition. If the fairways were overseeded it would be worth that price.

Great views, tremendous layout. Other reviewers have noted how fun the layout is and how spectacular the views are. This is 100% accurate. The greens are in good shape. The condition of the rest of the course is pretty rough. This is disappointing. Not overseeded either. Despite the conditions, the course is fun to play and worth it. Looking forward to improvements in the future. We’ll definitely be back.

The Preserve could be the top course not to miss in the whole area. . But it's sad they don't have a better greens keeper. Or won't put the money into the greens. Other Robson developments (Saddlebrook) don't have this problem. Why here. ??????

IT's sad to say this. The Preserve is probably one of the best layouts, and beautiful course in Az. I would say easy in the top 10. My opinion. It is just flat gorgeous. The fairways are beautiful and the layout is great. But it rates a big 0 for the greens. I can't believe a course so beautiful can have the worst greens . It sure takes away from your game. You might as well put on a asphalt parking lot. Sorry Even the members don't have anything good to say.

I had heard that The Preserve wasn’t in the greatest of shape. Disappointing since it’s one of my favorite courses. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is in pretty good shape. Fairways and tee boxes are nice and green. The greens were a little thin turf wise and a little grainy, but not bad. They rolled nice and held approach shots. So players I recommend you go play what I think is one prettiest golf courses in the Tucson/Oro Valley area!

Checked into pro shop and found out that they did not have a contract with Golf Now. As a result, the $57 pre-paid amount was added back into the remaining balance I ended up paying for the round. The Pro Shop said I needed to contact Golf Now to get the $57 refund. This is the first time this has ever happened. I was not happy about having to do this.

The course was not in good shape. Bunkers were not maintained, fairways were very scruffy and lots of dirt patches. However, I loved the layout of the tract but just wished the course had been in better condition.
