Don't miss this while playing Photo submitted by mk8q16ophx6477363 on 08/11/2020
Best in town
Stonelick is the best public facility in greater Cincinnati and there isn’t a close second.

This was my first time playing this course and I have been wanting to get over there for a while. I have heard great things about it from the moment of its being built. I actually worked on the roof and installed the shingles and flashing on the clubhouse when Jeff was building it. So I finally made it over there after finding a good deal on GolfNow that was about $50 lower than the weekend rate. It was the best rookie day I ever had taking off work this course lived up to every expectation that I had of it and it actually exceeded all my expectations the absolute best fairways I have ever hit on nice layout of the course challenging holes Firm greens just an overall excellent course. Actually the best course I’ve ever played on I will have to find a way to skip work another day and get this great rate for this championship course
Always amazing !
If you’ve never played here add it to your list. The best public course layout in the tri-state for sure and I believe one of the best in the US. I’ve played some of the best courses around the country and Stonelick stacks up with any of them. Take advantage of the amazing practice facility - given its included, it makes the price more reasonable than first glance, staff is always friendly. Just please offer Penn Station subs and a few more beer selections - especially draft, and I can proclaim this place heaven on earth!! Brian G.
Continues to be the best public course for many miles
Excellent place. Great course and condition. Only bummer was no food at the turn (phone from 9 broken, nothing ready...).
Excellent course !!!!
Design was awesome especially hole # 9
What is unique about it is that the holes have different memorable character , credit to the owner/ designer
I would love to play this in the fall !
Just awesome
I have wanted to play here in the past when I came up to visit family in the area but next had the chance. I was finally able to play it but there was a terrible almost tornado like storm late in the night before my early morning tee time, I thought I was going to cancel but just went with it and glad I did. I was surprised at how well it drained, sure it was wet, but still easily playable. The range was closed so I could not comment on that, the putting green was large and was very smooth and played very similar to the greens on the course. It is not an easy place to play with water and other hazards but its a lot of fun. The pace of play was quick, might of just been the day I was there but it was nice. The greens are amazing, I could also see the difficulty could really go up a few notches depending on the hole location that day. Everything was just amazing, I cant believe this is a public course, coming from Columbia, SC where there are only 2-3 really nice courses, this one crushes them and its not even close. If I lived here I would be playing here as much as possible, it really cant get much better. The guy I spoke with on the phone at in person could not of been more friendly and knowledgeable, it really is five stars all around. Cant wait to play it again.
Great course slow play
Maybe bad timing but the pace of play was slow like they are trying to get as many groups in as possible like other public courses. Since it cost more I would like to see a better pace of play.
Has To Be One of the Best Courses in Ohio
Selected the course based on Golfweek ranking and reviews. The staff was absolutely fantastic. The practice facility was great with grass stations and excellent short game area. Tee to green, I do not think the course could have been in better condition. There were some portions of the rough that were extremely difficult to play from. The fairway, bunkers and greens were A+. I played with 2 members and I am glad I did. We played pin position #2. They definitely helped me get around the course. IMHO, it’s a course you will play much better the second time around. You cannot go pin hunting and if you miss, you have to miss in right location. Overall, it is one of the best courses I played this year. I highly recommend it. It will be at the top of my playlist if I return it Cincinnati. Great Job Stonelick Hills!
Staff very rude
Our tee time got moved around after booking as we had 6 people playing in 2 tee times. These tee times where scheduled together but, after arriving we were told that these times got moved 20 min apart. When inquiring why they got moved the pro shop attendant was very rude and short with his answers. He stated “the system did it” with no further information.
Lovely course
Great course. I played the blue-white combo tees. The course is great for the intermediate and expert alike. Water comes into play many times but decent enough to avoid.
The greens have unbelievable character and putting is an adventure.
Every putt must be “made” and no coasting.
Overall an enjoyable course. Quick check in, friendly staff, the Marshall did push us on one occasion which tells you that the pace of play is managed.
For the money, it’s fully worth it! Play this course if you’re ever in the area. You’ll love it.
Amazing course!
Love playing this course. Very well maintained, has a country club vibe. Holes are nice and spread out. Great scenery, big houses. Very nice place.
It was a struggle to get the guy in the pro shop to take my gift certificate b/c it was on receipt paper and he said he couldn’t see all the numbers. Kind of a Richard.
Best Public in Cincy
Without a doubt the best public track in Cincinnati. The iconic 9th hole with the island green is extremely memorable. Driving range and practice area are top notch. The only negative would be the tree on #2. Other than that, I'd play this every day and be happy.
Great course, great food, stupid handicaps
Best hot dog I’ve ever had. Course layout is great. Course quality was very good.
BUT HOW IS A 146 yard PAR 3 HARDER THAN A PAR 5 WITH AN ISLAND GREEN. The handicaps on the holes are stupid. Whoever did that marred my experience today.
Wish it was $50 all year lol
Had a great day here, course was in good shape for March. Huge fairways and nice layout always makes for a fun round. One of my favorite courses in Cincy.
