Never seen this course in such poor condition, probably never going to play this course again

It is October you expect some ragged edges and some dryness but this was ridiculous. I have played here in years past and the course was average. It has dipped far below that and would get 0 if they had that rating. We only paid $20 but I almost wanted to go in and demand my money back. I always look at the putting green. If it is bad then you should not play. Once you see this one turn around since it looks like they put deep sand traps in it. Too bad a good playable layout that is worthlessness

Fairways dry and cut low, thick tall grass on edges, so be accurate. Greens are in need of some TLC. Traps good. Pace of play was excellent at 3 hrs. Sharp doglegs on a hand full of holes proved to be challenging. Good value for the money - worth playing.

I guess they found the keys to the mowers because I didn't didn't lose any balls in the fairway but it still took time to locate them. I doubt this course will ever be a 4 or 5 star course but the grounds crew were out there doing their best.

I’ve played here many times in the past, but since new management / owner the course upkeep has become nonexistent. Lost 4 balls in the fairways on the recent round, the sand traps have more grass than the greens and the greens have their own mini sand traps on them. This was my last attempt to enjoy a round at lakeside I will not waste my time or money on it again.

The course is in such poor condition it is unplayable in my opinion.

First time reviewing a golf course ever, but after the round we had today I felt everyone needed to be warned. Nothing is maintained. The fairways are the length of the rough, lost multiple balls in the fairway, weeds growing everywhere. The rough might as well be OB, if you hit out of fairway good luck finding anything. Greens were okay, a lot of them had ant hills in the middle of them. Sand bunkers are completely unmanaged with grass growing in them. Tee boxes are terribly maintained. Driving range looks like someone purposefully tried to make sure there was no grass to hit off. Only thing my friend and I enjoyed about this course was the golf carts that were extremely fast haha. This place has gone to the dumps, what a shame.

This was the worst golf course I have ever played on period I don't know what you're doing, but it is bad period the fairways are all weeds, some greens are getting bad, bad I have never seen fairways like this. I have never lost balls in fairways, but we did today. Every time you hit a ball, it took forever To find it period period I think if I was to play there again. You would have to give me money. It is Lousy

Grass in the fairways was a bit high leading to a few lost balls. That said, it’s still an enjoyable layout with a great pace of play.

Been playing here for months and have seen a rapid decline in the condition of the course. Greens have pot holes and the fairways are so poorly maintained it’s difficult to find your drives.

Looks like they can’t keep up with mowing with all the rain. Lost 2 balls in middle of fairway.

I have played this course many times over the last 3-4 years. It has been a work in progress for the entire time. I usually overlook that the course is not in the best of shape because the layout and a handful of holes have always made it worthwhile

This time the course was in such bad shape I quit playing after 8 holes. I understand that we have been having much needed rain but the fairways were so high I was loosing balls on shots which landed in the middle of the fairway Any shot in the rough was a lost ball. The greens although some needed some TLC were in pretty good shape but getting there was the challenge

I’m sure I will play here again but I will wait and give the new manager more time to get the course in playable condition

play once a week course is in good shape fairways are narrow and tree lined.

greens are on the small side and they are in great shape

Pathetic, they have saying they are going to get it done for 30 years. Not yet Great layout BUTT.
