ZenWoods Golf Club
About
ZenWoods Golf Club (formerly known as Point O' Woods Golf Course) is a nine-hole, par-30 course that is truly a hidden gem in that it can be a tricky course to find. Located in Inverness, the course is popular with local golfers as well as visitors who can actually find it. The golf course wraps around a large lake that is home to an abundance of wildlife. The layout is a favorite among seniors for its walkability and it's also a great spot for families since it's a player-friendly round for all skill levels. The bunkering is sparse but strategically placed and scattered trees also demand accuracy. The lake acts as a water hazard on a few holes as well. Though ZenWoods Golf Club is gentle enough for beginners there are still some tricky holes that will test your skills.

Fun Course
9 hole course with very fast pace of play. Played on a Saturday and 3 of us were done in around a hour. You can pay to play it twice though. Each tee box and green is turf. Even the bunkers lol. You have to be accurate on this course due to the turf and the small greens. By far the best golf carts I've ever had on a course. Great place.
Awesome make over!
The course is in great shape, the new owners have really improved the course. New carts full of features, new layout was good. The only thing I could say as a negative would be the turf tee boxes and greens. Not horrible but no teeing up and the greens were difficult to figure out. The course was a lot of fun and will go again.
Great Experience!!
Completely renovated and fun! Not your traditional old style course anymore. Fun chip and putt style, well designed and 9 holes can be played in less than an hour and a half. Try it, you might like it.
Great Experience!
WOW, what a nice surprise from the old point of woods disaster!!! I would highly recommend this place to someone looking for a NEW and FUN golf experience. The entire place is completely renovated, hole layouts are changed (all are now short par 3 'copies' of famous holes). I have always been a 18-hole player on a traditional regulation course, but to play in an hour on a fun par 3 layout was welcome, especially in the summer heat.
A few things of note: tee boxes, greens, fringes and bunkers are carpet. New cart path around entire course and new, electric carts that are the best I've seen anywhere. Of note, too, the staff is very friendly.
There are too numerous of other things to mention such as night golf, planned top golf-like driving range, $5k hole in one on hole #9 if you pay $2 entry fee at check-in, etc. etc. etc.
If you're looking for a more relaxed, fun, 'social' kind of golf experience, check this place out. Can't help but think other places will start popping up like this cclub once this catches on!!!!
Fun and Unique Course
First time I played this course and it was different from all the courses in this area. It was a fun little par 3 course with holes being modeled after famous golf holes. Will be back for quick round next time I am In the area again. Also had a ice coffee which was good as well. Great value.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Opening Day at the New Zen Woods!
I had the pleasure of playing at Zen Woods on their opening day after the remodel, and let me tell you — they absolutely nailed it. The new layout is sharp, clean, and really fun to play. It’s a par-3 course, but don’t let that fool you — the holes are challenging and creative, especially the over-the-water shots, which were a blast!
The course has a great mix of technical and scenic holes that keep you on your toes. It’s clear a lot of thought went into the design, and it makes for an exciting round whether you’re out there for fun or to fine-tune your short game.
The owners are awesome — super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the place. The staff was on point too. Everyone was helpful, upbeat, and made the whole experience even better.
Can’t wait to come back. Zen Woods is officially my new go-to spot.
Great course under construction and remodel
We played this course several times before a new owner came in. They are doing a great job of getting this course up to snuff and we admire the new greens and their overall efforts to make this a beautiful course. Staff is wonderful, food and drinks are great. Absolutely going back once it’s all finished!
Being renovated
Course is in the midst of a major renovation so some parts are a little rough. Going to be a great course when they are done though.
Under construction
Under construction. Will be a good course to golf when dobe
Under Construction
The course is in terrible shape but the new owners have crews working all over the course replacing all of the greens with artificial turf so there’s a lot of temporary greens and the rest of the greens are impossible to putt on. Brand new golf carts are beautiful and very fast. I can’t recommend playing this course until all construction is done but will be back when finished.
Point
New owners, it was under construction but playable. I would go back when the construction is completed.
Not bad but not great.
Course is under new management and construction so was a rough play but looks like they are trying. Hoping it will be better in months to come.
Greens
The greens are tearable. The course itself is good.
Greens need help
Fairways tee boxes fine. I can deal with that. Greens were in rough shape. Couldn’t really tell where the fairway ended and green started. Hard to putt on. Got great price but I would have to say I would not go back. Seemed to be a local course connected to a subdivision if I lived there and got a super spectacular rate I would golf there.
Staff was terrific but,
People are very friendly helpful. But the grounds are tough sorry to say.
Small 9 hole course
Great friendly staff,
Small 9 hole
Greens were rough
