Golf Club of Dublin
About
Although the climate gives away the location, the Golf Club of Dublin is a more authentic interpretation of the traditional links of its Irish namesake than most other replicas you'll find. The flat terrain, which was formerly a cornfield, was transformed into an enjoyable linksland layout covered with tall, sweeping heather and hundreds of yards of hand-stacked stone walls. The gently rolling fairways are generous and the classic, square-shaped greens are enormous and fast. In keeping with a true links golf course, there are nearly 80 steep, sod-walled bunkers waiting treacherously by the fairways and greensides to swallow up errant shots. Depending on the sun, the shadows cast over the bunkers can play tricks on your eyes, making them appear deceptively deeper or shallower. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes at the Golf Club of Dublin.

Great day for golf
Had a blast playing at Dublin City course. Weather was a little chilly, which helped keep down the crowds. Got to play by myself so I could hit a couple of balls. Course is in great condition and weeds are cut so losing a ball was minimal considering the long grass in the summer. Very nice course, big hitters should love this course.
Great layout
Played 10/12, windy conditions, beautiful day, 70 temp. Course was in great shape, very playable yet decent risk reward options. Greens putted very well, firm, definitely not too quick.
Always a pleasure
This course is always a pleasure to play. Amazingly friendly staff. The course it's self is always in the best condition. Will be playing the course again and often.
Always a challenge.....but great shape.
Golf course played a little longer than normal with windy conditions (15-20 mph). The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. This course is one of the more challenging in the area in my opinion. I used every club in my bag as it presents many options for shot making. One of my favorites in Central Ohio.
A must play !
I heard good things about this course from a friend. I was very pleased with the course. The layout is great, a risk reward course. You can lay up with a 3 wood and have a middle to low iron in on many of the par 4, or you can hit driver and have a wedge in. The greens rolled fantastic, I look forward to playing here again!!
Amazing course
Course was absolutely amazing. Very well kept greens fairways and bunkers. Layout was tough but beautiful.
Not worth the money
I like the layout of the course. The greens were in terrible shape. I do not know if this guy was the starter or not he was on a card at the first Teebox he was very rude and unhelpful I have played this course several times and that seems like the MO out there. I have played most of the new era golf courses, and for some reason the people at this course are very unhelpful and rude. The young man that was cooking outside was a very nice guy. Overall the course is way overpriced.
Thank you

Fun, hard, and too much walking
As a golfer with a big slice links style is for me. But even with the wide fairways, the water on 17 out of 18 holes is hard to deal with. And the bunkers make you feel like you are playing at The Open but some are too small you can't stand in them. Another thing about The Golf Club of Dublin is that there is alot of space between greens to tee boxes. This is not a course for walkers, even though the distance of the actual course is 7,000 and some yards you will be walking at least 9,000 yards. With all my complaints this was a pretty good round for me and it was very fun.
At Hot Deal Price a Good Value
As stated in title, at the hot deal price it is a good value. The standard price for this course is approximately $54. At that price, it is not such a good deal. The staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous and are top-notch all the way around. The golf course, however, is just slightly better than average condition, at best. If this course was in a different area, say Groveport or Reynoldsburg area, it would be half as much to play. I guess they charge that much because people will pay it in the Dublin area.
Worst 9 ever
Horrible pace of play, apathetic staff and one of the worst experiences await you in Dublin. Left after 9 and did not take my raincheck for the back nine never want to return.
Slow pace and Slow greens
Title says it all. Played on a Monday and one group held up everything behind them. It took us 4:50 to play, which is terrible for a Monday morning. The ranger would not approach the group two spots ahead of us about speeding up play. They had an entire hole open between them and the next group before we even finished our front nine. They only fell further behind on the back nine.
The greens were either diseased or burnt up on the back nine. All of the greens were sloooow. Could not hit the ball hard enough. We were paired with two members who said they were embarrassed that our first experience at the Golf Club of Dublin was so bad.
The only positive was good food at the turn. I will not be returning to this course.
Fun and fair
Loved the course. Location great. Can use all clubs. Rewards good shots and makes you pay for mistakes.
Ridiculous pace of play
If u like 9 hole rounds that last 3 hours , a staff that doesn't care if you are here or not. Overpriced green fees, this is the course for you. All this course cares about is how many outings they can stack in front of leagues. The golfing experience is not important to the staff. Only reAson we play here is there are no alternatives in Dublin. Out this course in any other location and it's a 25 dollar course. Don't believe the hype, your better off somewhere else. Don't believe me, make a tee time and see if u get off on time.
Not worth the price, poor customer service
Not worth the price and very poor customer service. Not a bad course, but charging above average prices, charge extra for range even if you are playing a round, would not provide ice without buying product, and rude about it.
Charging above average prices, and operate in a very cheap manner.
links golf
The course was playing soft & slow, I usually expect firm & fast on links course, in all fairness we had a lite rain the night before. The greens were rolling slower than I would expected even with the lite overnite shower. There was a lot of poa in the greens, this could have affected the speed also. Not worth the regular price, will check back in August after the poa burns off the greens & if they have a discounted rate.
A+ Very Nice
Awesome course. A little pricey. The greens are large and well manicured. Nice sand. Great fairways. Not overly difficult. I enjoy playing here, but I will only play by buying a hot deal on golf now. It's very nice, but not worth $68 on the weekends. Overall, extremely nice.
nice layout, slow play
Took us 5 hours and 15 minutes to complete round. Hackers need not play this course. Conditions overall were good. Bunkers could use some work. Huge greens in good shape and roll true.
Nice course
For $30 bones, good deal. Wouldnt pay much more. Nice course. Huge hairy greens.
Early season tuneup
Golf Club of Dublin is a fun, challenging course that is priced very well at $39 including the cart. Considering the amount of rain that had fallen recently, the greens had drained very well. Some casual water, but noting unusual. I will play this course several more times this season.
It's always great to get out for crisp winter golf. Thanks so much for the great review, hope to see you again!
