About
Although the climate gives away the location, the Golf Club of Dublin is a more authentic interpretation of the traditional links of its Irish namesake than most other replicas you'll find. The flat terrain, which was formerly a cornfield, was transformed into an enjoyable linksland layout covered with tall, sweeping heather and hundreds of yards of hand-stacked stone walls. The gently rolling fairways are generous and the classic, square-shaped greens are enormous and fast. In keeping with a true links golf course, there are nearly 80 steep, sod-walled bunkers waiting treacherously by the fairways and greensides to swallow up errant shots. Depending on the sun, the shadows cast over the bunkers can play tricks on your eyes, making them appear deceptively deeper or shallower. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes at the Golf Club of Dublin.

Great Course, Dumb Staff
Course was great - conditions to upkeep top notch. Staff however were in need of some edification apparently, though. Tried to pay for my round and was treated as if I was asking for a root canal. Next time I will walk on without paying (won’t be a next time).

Great condition and challenging
Was aerated few weeks ago but greens were great. Rest of course was in top shape. Played in 3:40 even with waiting for group in front. Will definitely return again.

Short on time
Should not be able to book a tee time past 6 pm this time of year. We could only play 6 out of no e holes. Play was very slow . I guess it was my fault for playing that late, but course should not offer tee times past 6 pm this time of year.

Great everything except people didn’t fix their divots
One of the best courses I went to but I spent 2 mins fixing divots on the green because 1) I had time there was a back up 2) they existed

Great course, poor greens
Layout and overall experience of the course was fabulous with some challenging holes. Greens we’re very poor on the day, slow and covered with unattended ball marks
