Fairway-E.O.Nay
The fairways were extremely dry. There was equipment parked randomly all over the course.Too many large dirt sections, many were at least 40' x 40'. Very little signage for players to determine what/if PGA rules applied.
DO NOT PLAY HERE
Worst golf course i have ever played on. Apparently, they use the fairways as a parking lot for the rose bowl on some evenings and it shows. 1st hole you hit right into a dirt path, the rest of the course has dirt patches all over the fairways, its like hitting off concrete, honestly. And they charged $82. Crap. Go anywhere else except here.
Course in bad shape
The condition of the course was horrible. I’ve NEVER seen it this bad. The grass was in poor shape. Dried out and too much damage from parked cars. Balls landing in the fairway were sitting in dirt. Rose Bowl events are killing this course. The course will start looking like Victoria Golf Course soon. Now the FUCLA football season is approaching soon. Do the owners of the course have no pride in the conditions of their course. Prioritizing parking from these events over golf course conditions makes the city look greedy . It’s a golf course, not a parking lot.
Not even close to worth it
Save your money.
Greens are hilariously slow, likely never rolled.
The fairways are in REALLY rough shape. The first hole is literally 50% dirt with no grass.
Save your money. Don’t play here.
ENJOYED
Great round, course was pleasantly maintained (NAY #2) pace of play was a bit slow but with the weather being perfect it was okay. a little pricey although as always, a round with the guys is definitely worth it.
Not worth the $
Not worth the $. Only thing this place has going for it is the upgraded carts and food. Other than that, horrible for the price. Patchy, rock hard dirt everywhere giving you no good lies. Rock hard bunkers. Lots of new golfers yelling fore nonstop. Balls flying everywhere making you hide for your life. Holes too close together making your chances of catching strays even higher. Slow pace/waiting on every tee box. No marshall helping speed it up. Cart/snack shop closed during mid day on a Sunday. I wanted to like this place so much but the past 2 times have been incredibly trusting experiences. Officially not coming back.
Terrible experience
You find your ball in dirt after a perfect drive. The bunkers are also dirt half the time. No drink cart. “Half way house” is closed at 1:30 pm on a Sunday.
