Windy Knoll Golf Club

Had a great cheeseburger on the patio before we played. Nice views of the 18th hole par 3. They started us on #10.not sure why. But it was ok. Course was in great shape for this time of year. Pin placement here can lead to some tricky putts. Greens are pretty fast. Challenging course with some water in play. I will play here again.

Nice course. The front nine had the bent grass fairways the back nine seemed to be mostly bluegrass and some areas not in good shape. The greens were pretty smooth and rolled at a good speed. I didn’t notice too many ball marks as some had reviewed. The grass on the greens looked maybe a little thin and seemed to have very little sand for drainage. That being said they still played very nicely as did the entire course. Not a criticism but they did not have the black tees as listed on the card. The gray tees seemed to be a hybrid of black and gray tees. Such as gray positions on par 4’s and black boxes on par 3’s. All in all a nice public course.

Course getting a lot of play, had to wait on cart. In good shape, but a little slow.

Course was in great shape for mid August. They have been watering regularly. This course is a challenge but fair. Greens pretty nice except for golfers not real repairing ball marks.

Love the layout of the course! First time I have played it and really enjoyed it! Very challenging on some holes! Only thing I would suggest is the greens have a lot of divot marks! But other then hat I loved the course and will be back again!!

As always we had a great time at Windy Knoll. Friendly staff greeted us, we got off a little earlier than our tee time, conditions were excellent, beautiful day, great experience. We plan on playing there often.

This course is in excellent shape. A must play. Well maintained.

Very nice golf course with a great layout and well manicured and maintained while being challenging. It’s worth the drive to Springfield to play. No beverage cart while there today and not sure if that’s normal but it was hot and it’s Saturday... to nice of course not to have a beverage cart. Still a nice very good nice course

Greens were a little rough, but otherwise course was in good shape. Sprinklers were a problem on two greens. They finally stopped on a par 3 we were playing but on a par 5 we couldn’t chip or putt due to heavy sprinkling going on. They did not stop. On hole number 1 which we played as #10 guy on tractor mowing would not get out of our way until we were putting. Huge distraction trying to hit onto the green.

I’m a bit biased but I think Windy Knoll is one of the best courses in the central Ohio area

Friendly Staff, new carts, good layout, good friends on a very warm day.

Only issue was you get grouped with people but played with three older gentleman’s today and they were amazing guys very fun today I was nervous at first but they made it fun couldn’t play all 18 but played nine and they were good players too good time golf now is where it’s at with prices and courses thanks golf now

Took my Iowa friends. Not busy at all. Great new carts. Beautiful weather. Friendly staff.

Due to all the rain we were cart path only. Golf course was in excellent shape. Golf shop staff was very friendly and helpful prior to our round. Will definitely be back to play.

I have played this course a lot. First time back in years though. I remember there being yardage sticks though so you could get an idea how far from the green you were and now they are gone. That is the only complaint I have. The course is in great condition. Still love the course.

Windy Knoll has been my course of choice for a couple years. Every time I play here it is always enjoyable. Great pro shop staff, friendly and accommodating.
